Death Stranding Gets Even Stranger With Its Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Death Stranding Another gameplay trailer for Death Stranding was shown off and it raises many questions with few answers for Death Stranding Just as we have had for the last few outings of The Game Awards, we have another new trailer for Death Stranding to look at here and try to figure out. Things have been very strange and hush since Kojima Productions announced the game so long ago and with each new view, this PS4 title seems to baffle and confuse. At least the trailers do as they make little to no sense, but given who is making Death Stranding I guess it works. Just think back to all of those MGSV trailers and tell me how those made sense when out of context for the core game. Read More...

Let's Relive How One Of Detroit: Become Human's Leads Came To Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of November 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Detroit Close to six years later, the mind behind Detroit: Become Human takes a look back & gives some insight on how one of Detroit's leads came to be There are a lot of gamers out there that are excited for Detroit: Become Human after its first unveiling, but there is also a huge portion of that crowd that has little to no knowledge of where it all started. I have personally talked to a few people who had no clue that its original starting was with a tech demo that Quantic Dream put out there to see if they could use their new animation process on the PS3. This was way back in March of 2012. Read More...

Review — Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Horizon Zero Dawn We sit down and review Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. Can you make The Cut? Here's our review of Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds I was really equal parts excited and worried about Horizon Zero Dawn’s new DLC. Would it be an overpriced cash grab for Guerrilla Games to scrape a few more pennies from fans, or a story that needed to be told that didn't fit with the flow and progression of the main game? I try not to delve into the main plots of games too much, but if you’re buying the DLC I am going to assume you have played Horizon Zero Dawn. So if you just want to know if I recommend it or not I’ll save you sometimes and say yes. Read More...

Thor & Thamur Play A Part In God Of War's Story Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of November 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
God Of War The next of the Lost Pages for God Of War are here and they go into stories of Thor and the new music for God Of War we will soon enjoy The third installment for the God Of War podcast is here and it gives us just a bit more of the official backstory going into the game as well as some of the way the new music and score of the game will be linking into the gameplay here. If you have no idea what this podcast is, it is something that has been set up to get more of the behind the scenes stuff from Santa Monica Studio out there to us but also fill in some of the gaps between the last major addition to the game and the one that is coming here. Mostly marketing and hype for God Of War before it hits the PS4 sometime next year, but it is a fun little extra to hear about some of the Norse Mythology and how it will be altered to fit Kratos in. Spider-Man Is Suiting Up Again In The Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new Spider-Man trailer is here from Paris Games Week and this one shows us who Spider-Man actually is as well as some of the supporting cast After much waiting and guessing, we finally know who this Spider-Man is going to be in the new game coming from Insomniac Games. Not only that, but we also have a new trailer for the game out of Paris Games Week all to show us that it will be another Peter Parker story but it will host a plethora of supporting cast as well as other playable characters. All of this because, and I agree, the best Spider-Man stories do come from events that cause both the hero and secret identity to cross over and this is just what this PS4 game is looking to do. We will know a lot more as we head into 2018, but the team has been very adamant on this point and now we get to see it all a bit more. Read More...

Kara Is Back For Detroit: Become Human & Every Choice Has A Consequence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of October 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Detroit Paris Games Week has another trailer for us for Detroit: Become Human and it shows us how every little choice in Detroit can have huge consequences Another great look at Detroit: Become Human has just come out of Paris Games Week and it brings back the character that started off all of the hype for the game back when Quantic Dream was doing just a tech demo for the animation and capture processes. Maybe you remember Kara or maybe you do not, but that does not change the fact that she is back in the game and looks like she is fresh off a memory wipe in the game. At least in the scene that we get to see play out just a bit here for Detroit. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of October 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Last Of Us At Paris Games Week, we had a new trailer for The Last Of Us Part II and it shows a few new characters to The Last Of Us universe & story It has been a good while since we had anything of real substance for The Last Of Us Part II and out of Paris Games Week we now have a new trailer for the game. A nice and lofty trailer that shows off a new set of characters that will be part of the overall Ellie and Joel story, but have their own little bit to go through before Naughty Dog gets them all linked and on the same page. Or maybe this is what happens to them after they are linked to their story. Read More...

Horizon Zero Dawn New screenshots for Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds have popped up to give us yet another look at the DLC coming to Horizon Zero Dawn soon November 7th is quickly approaching here and Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds will soon be hitting the PS4. All of this we know already, or at least know already, but it is good for Guerrilla Games to get that reminder out there for those who enjoyed the core game and are looking forward to this next expansion all to keep the fun flowing out there.
