Directly following Gamescom we have the release of 37 minutes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay showing off how amazing it looks on the Xbox One There is no doubt that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks amazing and looks like it plays amazing. I have yet to actually get hands on with the game. If you were fortunate enough to make it out to Gamescom you may have had a chance to sit down and see the gameplay demo and see firsthand. A few new screen shots for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released and show off Batman being Batman… While it may not be more video footage of Batman: Arkham Knight we do have a few new screen shots for the game to tide us over until the next big video of gameplay. Although this looks like it is all about the Batmobile or Batman in full action here in the game. If only there was more to speculate on and think about for Batman: Arkham Knight or the reason it is coming out in February next year instead of October here in short time. It has now been fully announced that Kano will be gracing us in Mortal Kombat X with three hardcore fighting styles It was all but confirmed that Kano was coming to Mortal Kombat X last week via a German magazine sharing a few screens for the character. Now, as promised, Ed Boon has full announced Kano will be making a comeback to Mortal Kombat X even though he will be a bit older and relying on his cybernetics to not die right away. The latest trailer for Dying Light from Gamescom has confirmed the four player co-op for the game I'm a bit confused here with the latest from Dying Light as I thought that the co-op was one of the original selling points for the game. Now we have the latest Gamescom trailer for the game that is highlighting all of the accolades Dying Light has received thus far as well as how we will be playing the game in co-op. A few new images for Mortal Kombat X have cropped up online and it looks like Kano is up next for reveal The internet can't keep anything sacred and fun for reveal and the latest Mortal Kombat X outing speaks directly to that. It looks like a few screen grabs from a German magazine have found their way from the editing room to the internet and it pretty much confirms Kano as a returning fighter to Mortal Kombat X. It sure looks like Kano and the brief description in the bottom corner looks to be all about his "Wrestling-Kano" fighting style. Unless this is an elaborate fake just in the build up to Gamescom. A new trailer out of SDCC for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham shows off the voice actors of the game If you didn't know by now, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is being slated as having the largest cast of characters from the DC Universe. I had the pleasure of seeing a good chunk of these characters at SDCC last week, look forward to a hands on article, but if you don't want to wait you can get a glimpse at a bunch of the characters and those who voice them in the below trailer. GameStop has announced that they will have an exclusive DCL pack for Batman: Arkham Knight that adds the Red Hood's Story It looks like we are getting more to Batman: Arkham Knight than just the Harley Quinn story pack. That is at least if you are pre-ordering the game for your local GameStop and nowhere else. None the less it is confirmed now that we are getting more story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight in the form of the Red Hood and it doesn't look like the Joker's version of the Red Hood either. In an interview with Mad Catz during EVO 2014 Ed Boon spoke about the possibility of guest character DLC for Mortal Kombat X It seems a bit odd to be speaking of guest characters for Mortal Kombat X when we only had the game's seventh main character announced during EVO here recently. During EVO 2014 in Las Vegas, NV it was revealed that Raiden will be a fighter in Mortal Kombat X Now we can take the fighter count to at least seven for Mortal Kombat X as Raiden has been confirmed to be coming back to the franchise. Not that big of a shocker (pun intended) as Raiden has been an iconic character much like Scorpion and Sub Zero have been over the last umpteen incarnations of the franchise lore. If it is to be believed it looks like we will be driving around Gotham as soon as February 24th 2015. Only if the below listing, since removed from the site, is spot on with the date. Here's My Take On It Mortal Kombat X was teased and rumored long enough before E3 that it was no real big surprise to see it play out on the big screens during the press conferences. By no means am I saying it wasn't a treat to see but there was no real shock and awe moment as the game was fully announced. But that is really all that happened on the big screen leaving much to be desired beyond the long lines of fans waiting to see what Ed Boon had in store for us; not to mention the two new characters promised to be shown off during the event.
