Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical Is Kicking Things Off Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of August 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Stray Gods The Stray Gods are now out there with the launch of Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical on all of the platforms Talk about a title that caught my eye back when Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical was first announced. It blends so many aspects of video games out there that I have grown to love on top of all of the Greek religion in the mix. This is why I am glad to see that Summerfall Studios has finally made it to the point to release the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. All so many more out there can experience the musical and choose-your-own-adventure gaming that Stray Gods should be bringing us all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of August 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat Three more fighters are here for Mortal Kombat 1 and we get one more Mortal Kombat deep cut for another Kameo fighter The fighters are coming out in droves for Mortal Kombat 1 with three more banished into the realm and one more showing up as the next hot Kameo spot. Most of them also some deep dives into the games from NetherRealm Studios that some fans might see these as new characters if they do not have their lore all the way up to date. There have been a massive amount of characters in the run for Mortal Kombat, so that makes sense. Now, though, we get to see as Reptile is back, along with Ashrah, Havik, and Sareena. Read More...

Although, some of you might be holding off for the full series to be dropped kind of like we used to do back in the heyday of Telltale Games. It is always one of the issues when it comes to games that are launched in an episodic nature. For those that are doing that, but still want to see how The Expanse was shaped up, it is time to dive into thirty minutes of gameplay with the voice behind the protagonist of the game. Read More...

I Got To Spend 45 (ish) Minutes With Chris Perkins At SDCC
by Thomas Harris [ Monday, 31st of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
D&D I was able to check out the Secrets of D&D Dungeon Mastering with Chris Perkins and learned much more about D&D At SDCC this year, I was one of the fortunate folks who got to attend the Dungeons & Dragons wiseman Chris Perkins discussion of how to be a (or be a better) Dungeon Master. I say fortunate due to the line to get in being so vast there are probably still people waiting to get in as write this over a week later. I showed up to Room 29CD for Secrets of D&D Dungeon Mastering with Chris Perkins over an hour and a half early due a combination of being unable to get into a panel on the fungus in The Last Of Us and its likelihood of ever actually happening plus my personal anxiety to never be late to anything. When I arrived, I found a sizeable yet reasonable line. Read More...

Mortal Kombat One more Mortal Kombat character is back in the mix for Mortal Kombat 1 with Geras getting a debut Just when we thought we were going to have a lull for Mortal Kombat 1, a new fighter comes onto the scene with a smashing new trailer to behold. A new fighter for this entry but one that NetherRealm Studios has already given to us before. Here we go with Geras coming back from Mortal Kombat 11 to show more of what he is made of as well as make sure Lui Kang is keeping the peace as was dictated in some off-screen conversation. That is the long and short of what we have in the story here for this before the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 19th. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Well, things took quite a bit of a turn with SDCC popping off and keeping the whole team's attention for all things video games and pop culture in general. Thankfully, we were able to hop back in this week, get caught up, and still have more to share for titles like Mortal Kombat 1, Spider-Man 2, and Star Wars Outlaws. That is, we only want to focus on the video games we had the chance to check out and talk about during the event too. Read More...

More Characters Are In Our Blood Out Of SDCC For Mortal Kombat 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat More characters for Mortal Kombat 1 have been announced out of SDCC along with more guest characters coming in for Mortal Kombat 1 In general, SDCC does not feel like the place where new information for Mortal Kombat 1 would have been dropped out there, but gods did we have a massive drop of information out there this year. Quite a bit of stuff that feels like NetherRealm Studios would have given us if the more traditional video game conventions would have been happening, but had to wait until they could pack a room with fans. Not only that, but to make sure we were all excited for that September 19th release of Mortal Kombat 1 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...
