The Last Of Us Left Behind DLC Is Now Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
The Last Of Us — Left Behind DLC is now out for you to scare your loved ones with. The wait is now over as The Last Of Us Left Behind story DLC is now out for us to play and expand the story of the main game. This part being one of the aspects of the story I am excited to dig into. I am a little torn between this and the Titanfall beta but from the following trailer I think I may have to take a break and give this DLC its proper attention before all the romance stuff required by Hallmark tonight. Hopefully your loved one is a gamer this Valentine's Day as this DLC for The Last Of Us and the beta is sure going to be digging into that time. At least I made this short and sweat for you. We Have Another Heavenly Sword Movie Trailer To Check Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Heavenly Sword is getting the big CGI film treatment and we have a trailer for it. How does it look so far? Back in November of 2013 we got the first look at what the Heavenly Sword CGI film would look like. I had my reservations, and still do, about this film and some of the things that looked to be missing when everything was announced. One of whom was one of my favorite characters Kai. At least that concern has been covered as she shown in this new trailer in all of her arrow shooting glory. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 2/3/14 — 2/7/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of February 2014 - 10:03 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week. Here's a recap of what we covered in gaming. It's been a busy week in gaming here. We've had an awards show. We've had some new games out for review. We had a few new writers contribute. Hells, there was even a day where it seemed that all we were getting in the news was from Square Enix. You know the day I am talking about. Well, sometimes things fall through the cracks or are blocked on Facebook as per The Zuckerberg initiative. Read More...

The Last Of Us Cleaned Up Nicely At The DICE Awards
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of February 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
At The 17th Annual DICE Awards Last Night (2/6/14) It Looks Like The Last Of Us Cleaned Up Nicely. The Amazing Title Racked Up 10 Awards. Last night (2/6/14) wrapped up the 17th Annual DICE Awards and it looks like there was one clear winner; The Last Of Us from Naughty Dog. It picked up almost every win that it was nominated for to boot on losing out to titles like BioShock Infinite, World Of Tanks, GTAV, and technically The Last Of Us (It had two nominations in one category). In fact those were the only three that The Last Of Us didn't pick up out of the thirteen categories it was nominated for. That is more than half of the twenty-four total categories that were up for review, if you do the basic math. Read More...

No Multiplayer In The Order 1886 And How This Makes Sense
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
It has been confirmed by Andrea Pessino that The Order 1886 will have no multiplayer mode. Is that really a big surprise? It seems to be a slow news day here so we are going to make a deal about the news that The Order 1886 will have no multiplayer mode and stay strictly a single player, action, 3rd person title. That is directly what the co-founder and CTO Andrea Pessino of Ready at Dawn has taken to twitter with at least. While The Order 1886 has looked like a multiplayer title from the trailer shown announcing the game, it really is no big surprise to me and I truly hope that they do keep it that way. Read More...

Review: The Wolf Among Us - Episode Two
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Wolf Among Us - Episode Two. It's been a while since we picked up with Bigby and crew so lets see if the wait was worth it. It seems like it has only been a few months since the last episode of The Wolf Among Us, which seems like a bit of madness. It's been close to five months to be a little more exact. Given that you would think that Telltale would have a nice, long, and amazing addition to the episodic adventure. Well let's dig into it and see if the wait and money was worth it for The Wolf Among Us — Episode Two: Smoke & Mirrors. Read More...

Here Is A Little More For The Evil Within Straight From Japan
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 6th of February 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We have a new PS4 trailer fresh from Japan and it happens to have a bit more from The Evil Within. Or Psycho Break as it is called over there. Hey horror fans! If you are like me then you have been keeping an eye on The Evil Within or Psycho Break coming from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda. It is also the title being helmed by Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil fame. You should know this by now as it has been covered on the site multiple times already. I guess that makes all of this a bit redundant and useless. Read More...

Arriving Out Of The Aether Is The New Elder Scrolls Online Cinematic Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Bethesda has given us a new look at the Elder Scrolls Online in CGI trailer format. Sit back and watch as it will probably get you excited for the game's release. If there is anything that can get us all riled up right now it is a new trailer for Elder Scrolls Online as no one who is in the βeta is allowed to even show off a single screenshot yet. Even if you have played the βeta for Elder Scrolls Online I am sure that you will also get excited to see the new Arrivaltrailer that quietly shows us a bit of the game's rich story through silent heroes. It sounds a bit odd, but it works. Read More...

Review: Stick It To The Man!
by Kenton Winkfield [ Friday, 31st of January 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Stick It To The Man!. Does it really do what the title implies though? Who hasn't wished they had to ability to read people's minds, or moves things with their minds, or rip someone's teeth out of their mouth and put them into someone else's mouth? Ok, maybe no one imagined doing the last part, but now you won't have to. All this and so much more is now possible in Stick It To The Man! Read minds, grab thumbtacks all over the world to access higher platforms, pick up various objects and ideas to solve various puzzles. Read More...

Looks Like We Are Getting Kraven's Help In The Amazing Spider Man 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of January 2014 - 07:20 PM ]
The official announcement trailer for The Amazing Spider Man 2 has been released to the public and it looks like it will be turning a Spider Man villain into an ally. Or is this a ruse? We had a tease for The Amazing Spider Man 2 a little while back and the time has come where we get the full trailer for the game. Yes it is another film tie-in game but the previous game was actually quite decent given the usual lackluster experience these kinds of games usually provide. Hopefully we can expect the same with The Amazing Spider Man 2. Read More...

Ah…The Photo-Realism Of The Division Brings A Tear To The Eye
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of January 2014 - 06:49 PM ]
A few more stunning screen shots from The Division that are hard to believe are in-game and not pre-rendered. This is what 'next gen' should really look like. I mentioned this before and I'll probably keep saying it, but how did I let The Division slip past my radar for so long? Every time there is something new to show of the game I am blown away with the aesthetics of the game and what the Snowdrop engine can do. If anything, the below screen shots should help drive that home a bit more. Mind you all but one is compiled of 100% in-game visuals and nothing pre-rendered. Read More...
