Pea-shooting Zombies On The Go With iPhone/iPod

Plants vs. Zombies was one of the 2009 most played games for the PC, especially for those at Aggrogamer.com. PopCap Games has announced today that they will be releasing the game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Plants vs. Zombies will be available now at the Apple’s App Store for $2.99. Andrew Stein, Director of Mobile platforms from PopCap Games made the following comment, “Plants vs. Zombies for iPhone and iPod Touch marks the first adaptation of our wildly popular ‘flower defense’ game to a new platform, and we’re excited at how well it has translated to the iPhone and iPod touch. Peggle's Reign Expands To PSN

Today Popcap announced that Peggle and Peggle Nights will be releasing its addiction-y goodness on the PlayStation Network. They also announced that in tune with this release, Peggle Nights will also find itself on the XBox LIVE Arcade. Peggle on the PSN will be priced similarly to the original Peggle's release on XBLA ($10), while Peggle Nights will be priced at $5 (400 Microsoft points). Peggle is one of those games that seemingly anyone can get into. Yes, I'm sure there are three to four people that don't enjoy it, but where the game succeeds is its innate ability to keep everything simple and to do that simple well. Read More...

The Love Child Of Square Enix & Pop Cap Games

At TGS Square Enix announced today, their new Puzzle/RPG named Gyromancer. It's basically a highly addictive Bejewled PopCap game with the RPG fantasy twist from the best in the business. Gyromancer will be available for XBox 360 as well as Steam. Both PopCap and Square Enix have collaborated before, in Japanese games, but this is more of a creative avenue for both teams. It's been months since Plants vs. Zombies has been released and you still haven't picked it up? Maybe the economy has affected you more than most people realize? Well for whatever the reason is, you do not have an excuse to not be playing Plants vs Zombies. Peggle: World of Warcraft

Isn't there a add-on for Peggle to begin with? I believe there is.... *goes and log-on to his WoW account to make sure* ...yeah there is. So why is this so important? Well it's because its not an add-on but an actual game outside of World of Warcraft. 10 World of Warcraft stages for all your Peggle goodness. This includes backgrounds from Blizzard artists, compete against a friend or PC in Duel mode, Quick Play levels anytime you want to hone your Peggle skills, and add to your Peggle Master rank with super-extra-hard challenges.
