Peggle is one of those games that seemingly anyone can get into. Yes, I'm sure there are three to four people that don't enjoy it, but where the game succeeds is its innate ability to keep everything simple and to do that simple well. In my recent review of Torchlight, I talk about time lost. Peggle is definitely on the list of games with the greatest amount of time lost. So, to see this move to the PlayStation Network is a huge win for both Sony and Popcap. A whole new market of gamers is exposed while many people (like myself) who already own one copy will easily find themselves purchasing a second copy of the game. Very few games have that kind power.
So starting November 19th, don't hesitate to jump on your PS3 and download this title. You really can't go wrong. Now, let's just hope Sony is smart enough to put it in that "What's New?" section of everyone's PS3. I'd say there would be no way they could drop the ball on this, but let's face it, it's Sony.
