Trion Announces End Of Nations Will Be Free To Play

End Of Nations is Trion World's highly anticipated MMORTS which is still in the works, but that's not going to stop them from making some major announcements. Trion games announced yesterday that End Of Nations will now embrace the very popular free to play business model. Like all other Free to play titles, EoN will feature micro-transactions along with an optional "subscription" feature. Free players will have access to "the entire game" according to Trion, including its 50 person Multiplayer battles, full single player mode and player customization. Rise Of Immortals Enters Open Beta

Petroglyph Games has opened its doors to everyone willing to participate in the new free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game Rise Of Immortals. In fact, it's so open, you just need to head over to their site and sign up! This title has been in beta for a couple of months now, and finally ready for the public to get some hands on time with it. Well if getting a sneak peak of the soon-to-be released title isn't enough, players that participate in the open beta test will get 1000 Petroglyph coins at launch (a little over $10 micro-transaction cash). Petroglyph Games, the studio behind Guardians Of Graxia and the highly anticipated End Of Nations, just announced a new free-to-play online micro-transaction title called Rise Of Immortals. With promises of new features and a slew of content after launch, RoI could be a powerhouse in the Battle Arena. Rise Of Immortals is a Defense Of The Ancient (DotA)/Massively Online Battle Arena (MOBA) style game. Today Guardians of Graxia (Reviewed here) is getting its first full expansion pack Elves and Dwarves. With the new expansion come new guardians, new units, new abilities and six new skirmish maps. It's a pretty big deal. New Guardians First out of the gate are the new guardians, GoG is introducing a new elf and dwarf Guardian with corresponding units. Mytheon, the new MMO from developers True Games and Petroglyph Games, announced today they will be entering the open beta stage on Wednesday, April 28th 2010 (this title is currently in closed beta) Want to get in on the action, well it's easy: Anyone who registers to play at www.MytheonGame.com will be able to immediately play Mytheon The companies have also announced that there will be a "Champions of Mytheon" Premium package for a short time that will give players the opportunity to access discount currency, exclusive items, coins and previews of upcoming content. LOS ANGELES (September 18, 2009) – SODMG Gamers is the next competitive gaming site for video gamers. Now launched, its free closed beta last Monday went extremely well. Receiving thousands of beta account requests and the closed beta received over 325,000 unique page impressions during the first week online. Want to save Azeroth from those Zerglings? Need help doing so? Well look no further as Blizzard has introduced Grunty the murloc marine. This cute space-marine wearing murloc will only be available to those attending Blizzcon or purchases the Blizzcon Pay per View via DirecTV. Blizzard made a statement about Grunty the murloc marine, “This tiny terror is fully armored and comes equipped with a gauss rifle, which he’ll occasionally fire into the air to make sure no invisible spacecraft are swooping in to attack.” Blizzcon will take place on August 21-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Alright you animal loving people out there especially those who play the lovely game of World of Warcraft. This Saturday the lovely group of peta has set up an event on the WhisperWind realm at the Howling Fjord area to help stop the killing of….seals??  “Thrall refused to ban the slaughter of seals, despite multiple requests from the Alliance to do so, because Orgrimmar stands to make a large profit from the fur.  Activists from across the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are banding together to put a stop to the atrocious seal slaughter.” Just recently the Canadian government has started their killing on seals, which means sealers are free to kill up to 338,200 of these harmless creatures.
