Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week in video games this has been. I personally thought that it was going to be another of the slow weeks given the proximity of the big E3 just about to hit us but then all of those developers and publishers opted to hit us with some really great stuff. I'm still reeling in the fact that South Park: The Fractured But Whole has an official release date and that we will be seeing the next Assassin's Creed title before the end of the fiscal year. South Park A new release date for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been set and it looks like we'll be back in South Park farting on everyone this October It looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole may be just in sight now as it looks like we have a new release date for the game to look forward to. Unless it is hit with any further delays, it looks like Ubisoft is planning to bring us this game finally on October 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Assassin’s Creed With all of the recent Assassin’s Creed rumors floating around, it looks like Ubisoft has confirmed we'll see Assassin’s Creed & others this fiscal year While none of this will seem exactly new given all of the recent leaks, but it looks like the next Assassin’s Creed title is slated to be out here soon-ish with more information coming to us by E3 this year. Not only that title though, but many others from Ubisoft like South Park: The Fractured But Whole and Far Cry 5. South Park It looks like South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed again as this new South Park title has been pushed off of a Q1 2017 list now It does not look like South Park: The Fractured But Whole is catching any breaks with actually making it to a release date as it looks like the game has been hit with yet another delay. Originally it was slated to land just in time for the Christmas holiday, it would have made the perfect gift, as it was set to release on December 6th. That date has come and gone and we were all set to head back into South Park before the end of March as the release date was slated as Q1 of 2017. Read More...

ARK Park A new VR experience is coming with ARK Park as it will expand on aspects of the core title that ARK Park's VR would only be able to deliver to us all We've seen a few VR experiences that give us a feel for Jurassic Park but it looks like we are going to be getting a solid on here with ARK Park in 2017. At least a version that does what the original parks were intending to do without all of the crazy need to not be killed by dinosaur's aspect of it all. I guess Snail Games is going to leave all of that to ARK: Survival Evolved given that ARK Park is based in the same game universe and all about the fun experiences and not the dread of having to outrun all of those horrible beasts. Nintendo The Japanese version of Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios now has an opening window for when fans can experience Nintendo like never before If you are one of those gamers who like to plan ahead then get your planner out right now as it looks like Super Nintendo World will be coming at us sometime before the Summer of 2020. At least to the Universal Parks in Japan as it has been announced that the aim is to get the addition built, staffed, and open before the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Only a short three to four year wait and such but it's still better than just saying "it's coming" over and over. Read More...

South Park A new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has released, instead of the game, and it looks like we can see the South Park mission that starts it all I know I am not alone when I say I'd like to be playing South Park: The Fractured But Whole as of right now. Yesterday (12/6) was the original release date for the game and now we sit and wait for the new date to even be announced for some time in "Early 2017." This is just how video games go sometime and hopefully all of this waiting means that Ubisoft is more about getting us a great game instead of padding numbers for the year. Nintendo A new update for the Universal Parks & Nintendo team up to bring famed Nintendo IPs to the parks has been issued and it is about the same as you would expect it to be Last year we all caught wind that Universal Parks & Nintendo were teaming up to bring a lot of our favorite titles to the parks in a new themed area. If you don't remember, that is okay as the original announcement was made back in May of 2015 and a lot of things have transpired since then. South Park A new interview with the developers of South Park: The Fractured But Whole shows off just how they are making this new South Park longer and better Recently we had the news that South Park: The Fractured But Whole was being delayed until Q1 of 2017 with very little explanation outside of making it a better game and experience for us all. The usual excuse given by developers when they can't make the deadline. The only difference here is that it looks like Ubisoft is going into a bit of the detail as to why we are waiting for our next adventure into South Park on the PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC as well as a few other things to look forward to. It's odd as it did seem like Ubisoft was so certain that they were going to be able to hit this date only a few weeks ago during Gamescom but that just isn't the case anymore. South Park More gameplay from South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and now we get to see some solid gameplay for South Park and not a few seconds Earlier this week we had some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay come out while many others had a chance to play a little bit of the game wearing a disgusting gas mask. That is how Ubisoft wanted to do it but it left a lot of us out in the lurch hoping to see something more than a few seconds in a short clip of the game. Thankfully we have other major sites out there that are paid to show off what they want to and now we have fifteen minutes of gameplay for South Park to gaze upon even if a little bit of it is the same as before. South Park Right out of Gamescom we have some new South Park: The Fractured But Whole gameplay and get to see just how the heroes will be saving South Park in their own way We all heard about what could be at Gamescom from South Park: The Fractured But Whole in terms of the experience and getting farts in your face. For those who can't be on the show floor and experience just that, it looks like Ubisoft has opted to give us yet another trailer for the game spliced with a bit more new gameplay. It does have a lot that we've already seen or heard for South Park already but it does show off some of the combat we'll experience when we choose our creation story, or are told it, when the game launches on December 6th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. South Park A new video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been released and it pokes fun at the Oculus Rift in only a way that South Park can Hopefully by now you are fully aware of the crude and toilet humor that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is going to have mixed into the game. If you clicked in here than you have to know as the franchise is heading into its 20 season and this will be Ubisoft's second major foray into crafting an RPG for the franchise. It is still slated for a December 6th release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC before you fear that it was delayed but it does look like Gamescom may have something stinky from this South Park title on hand during the major convention.
