by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of October 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
The Quarry The Quarry has dropped out a nice little bit of extras to get us all back into The Quarry just in time for Halloween With Halloween only a few days away from now, it seems like the perfect time to start getting all of those themed updates and extras out there for the game. The Quarry is the next one we have in the list of games getting the treatment, even if it is one that should have been enjoyed all month so far. It is a great little horror game that Supermassive Games has made in a way so we can also enjoy it as a movie too. There is little likelihood that you have been able to play The Quarry the same way twice so far, and now we get to add a little bit more into the mix for free on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There have been a few bits like this out there from Santa Monica Studio already, but this is a deeper dive into the story with various other aspects yet to come. All so we can have a better appreciation for God Of War and then see the hardships that they had to go through to get this latest one ready for the November 9th launch on the PS4 and PS5. A journey that all started out with some true hardships as far back as 2020, if we all want to try to remember those times… As it has been alluded to thus far for God Of War: Ragnarök, this first part in the ongoing series does focus on the story and how it has been evolving out there. A new track for the game has dropped out there and it is one of the more important ones, given that this is the main theme that Sumo Nottingham and Gun Interactive will have for us in the game. Not that we will be going into The Texas Chain Saw Massacre trying to listen for the music with the looming threat of chain saws everywhere, but it is something we will hear while the matches are getting ready to kick off. God Of War The PS5 version of God Of War: Ragnarök will have a few more options to get us further into the God Of War setting For those that have a PS5, it should come as no surprise that this is going to be the system that will show off God Of War: Ragnarök in the best way. I am sure that the PS4 version will still be excellent, but Santa Monica Studio is given much more to work with on the new system and you can see that up to now already. Both in the trailers and gameplay we have had for Ragnarök and the full update they put out there for God Of War in the past. Now, though, we can see a bit more out there to see how this version will take us even deeper into the game when it drops on November 9th. Read More...

Ghostwire: Tokyo Finally Lets You Take Some Glorious New Photos Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of October 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Ghostwire A new update for Ghostwire: Tokyo is out that adds in a robust Photo Mode into the fun of Ghostwire: Tokyo The update that many of you have been waiting for to come to Ghostwire: Tokyo is finally here. The new Photo Mode for the game is done and out there from Tango Gameworks so you can make sure to be able to capture all of those sick moments in the game on the PS4, PS5, and PC. At least capture them all in a form that you would rather want than just a well-timed screenshot of the action going on. That has been an option since Ghostwire: Tokyo, but that almost always came down to the luck of the draw instead of being able to stage a great shot using the assets that the team has carefully placed in the game in the first place.
