All Of Those Just Cause 3 Destructibles Have Been Handled With Care
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for Just Cause 3 has been released to show off how the team is getting all of those destructibles in Just Cause 3 just right We've all seen how destructible Just Cause 3's world and objects are going to be. We have and it is what we expect for the next gen title and the Just Cause franchise up to now. We know it and so does Avalanche Studios as they too have been taking great care to make everything in Just Cause 3 explode, decay, evaporate, or any other synonym for destroy, look just about right. Granted it isn't always going to be the most real world physics based kind of destructible but Just Cause 3 is a video game so it will make it look just right for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC universes that we will play in. Dying Light: The Following Looks To Expand On Kyle Crane's Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New details and pricing for Dying Light's next DLC The Following have been released and it looks like we are getting to know Dying Light's protagonist a bit more Late last month we had a look at the next big DLC for Dying Light titled the The Following. Up until Gamescom all we had were little tidbits based off screenshots and brief descriptions from Techland and nothing else. The big knowns about the next big Dying Light DLC was that it would have a map larger than anything we've played before, it was going to be story-based DLC, and that we would be getting dirt buggies to roll around the maps and mow down zombies with. That has been about it and Warner Bros. Read More...

Escape Plan Bravo Initiated For Tales From The Borderlands Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 07:02 PM ]
Episode four for Tales From The Borderlands is releasing next week and we have a few screenshots to whet the whistle for the new addition to Tales From The Borderlands The wait is over as we have a release date for the next episode of Tales From The Borderlands. Only a two month wait for this episode titled Escape Plan Bravo so it looks like Telltale Games is getting back into the swing of things and keeping us all going on their titles. Even better that it is one of their better ones to me and still encompassing around Gearbox's franchise that we are all wait to get another addition to outside of Tales From The Borderlands. Maybe we'll all luck out and Tales From The Borderlands will culminate into an official Borderlands 3 announcement using some of the cannon that is being set here. Read More...

Get A Feel For How Large Mad Max's Wasteland & Strongholds Are
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Mad Max has been released and it gives a really good feel for the size of the Wasteland as well as a few looks at the crazy character of Mad Max Nothing gets my blood pumping in the morning like a good action packed game trailer and Mad Max never disappoints it would seem. Avalanche Studios has been doing a great job of bringing the franchise to life and again with this new trailer they show how Mad Max isn't going to be a game full of just Max, Warboys, and Scrotus' legions duking it out. No. There are loads of other bizarre and crazy characters in the Wasteland of Mad Max and here we get to meet a few more. Read More...

Dying Light Getting Dirt Buggies & Story DLC With The Following
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The rumored DLC for Dying Light from last week has panned out and it looks like Dying Light is getting those dirt buggies and a whole lot of story DLC That didn't take too long for Dying Light to get confirmed on getting drivable vehicles as DLC. It was kind of teased last week when Techland posted a "Half A Year" of DLC video on their social media accounts but it wasn't completely defined. Now we flash forward to this week and it has been confirmed pretty much that Dying Light is going to be getting said vehicles in the mix of a LARGE story DLC expansion called The Following. Not to be mistaken for the Kevin Bacon TV series that recently wrapped up. Read More...

Dying Light Celebrates Half A Year Of DLC With…More DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of July 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Half a year's worth of DLC for Dying Light has been released to date and the developer celebrates by teasing more Dying Light DLC It is hard to think that Dying Light launched just about a half a year ago and we are still getting solid updates and DLC for the game. Techland has made sure to do way more than just the basics we have become accustomed to in our video games to date. They could have just said, "We fulfilled our Season Pass DLC and now you are on your own" but they keep pumping out more Dying Light DLC on a regular basis. That is of course why Dying Light hasn't fallen out of view in the community and has had longer staying power than most other zombie games out there. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Catch A Ride. This is the third episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did It is a long cycle for new episodes of Tales From The Borderlands to be released but we've had the third episode of the series released and I've finally had the time to sit down and give the extra story bit a play through. I mean the second episode of Tales From The Borderlands landed in March and this one landed near the end of June. At least there wasn't a delay between all of the platforms here and everyone who has a PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Gaming PC were able to play through the next bit. Read More...

A new listing shows that Mad Max is getting a Post-Apocalypse Edition that includes Fury Road and Mad Max license plates Those hoping for a great Mad Max collector's edition or premium edition can now look forward to the Post-Apocalypse Edition…at least if you live in Australia for now. Yes, this is a new addition for Avalanche Studios Mad Max and this edition comes packaged with the hit Mad Max: Fury Road as well as a few other goodies. All of which can be seen on the Australian EB Games pre-order page for Mad Max. This is why I state only in Australia for now as it has yet to show up in any other region yet but it would make sense that Warner Bros. Read More...

The Many Different Ways Just Cause 3 Was Played At E3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We finally have that Just Cause 3 E3 demo to look at but quite a few different ways it could have played out as Just Cause 3 wants to I know I missed out on the Just Cause 3 E3 demo when the expo was going on so it is nice that we are now getting to look at it about a month later. Not only are we getting a look at it but we are also getting a guided tour from Avalanche Studios on what is going on as well as the many ways you can approach missions and events in Just Cause 3. Not to mention all of the crazy explosions, murder, and mayhem that we should be looking at the game to provide too. It wouldn't be a Just Cause game without all of that right and Just Cause 3 is not going to be a slouch in the franchise at all. Read More...

A new Dark Edition has been announced for Skylanders Superchargers and it allows for more Kaos gameplay in the franchise In the last edition of Skylanders we had a cool Dark Edition as we had villains in tow and it looks like Skylanders SuperChargers is also going to be doing the same thing. Before you get worried about it Skylanders Superchargers' Dark Edition will be available in starter pack form for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U versions of the game. Time For A Bit More Story On Tom Clancy's The Division
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of July 2015 - 04:59 PM ]
We've seen a lot of gameplay for Tom Clancy's The Division but only a bit of story but thankfully here is a bit more on that for The Division There are a lot of people out there excited for The Division to finally launch on March 8th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I know I am excited to see if the visual quality is upheld by Ubisoft or just upgraded for E3 demos and such. I also know that a lot of people flipped over The Division after seeing the new gameplay at E3. Maybe not on my social accounts but it was all the buzz around the booths on the show floor.
