by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 9th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Vaporum The unique steampunk dungeon crawler Vaporum has arrived on PS4 with Vaporum hitting the Xbox One & Switch later this week This feels like the week of smaller titles coming out as Vaporum is hitting the shelves as you are reading this. First, it is landing on the PS4 and then the Xbox One and Switch throughout the week. This is something we already knew from Merge Games already giving us this schedule, but we are here to make sure you are reminded of it for the week. Especially when Vaporum looks to be a weird mixture of quite a few different gaming aspects wrapped into one. Read More...

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remasters Have One More Trailer To Take In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy A new trailer is here for the Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 remasters to get you excited for their re-release in a week In just over a week the remaster for Final Fantasy X/X-2 will be out there for the Xbox One and Switch. Yet one more of the Square Enix titles that did not show on the platforms the first few times around, but now that we have the technology and exclusivities gone they can. That would, at least, be the thought behind this as the PlayStation fans have been hogging all of the Final Fantasy goodness for a while now. The same can be said for other entries into their other franchises. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 11 Has Three More Characters To Show For The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of April 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat More characters for Mortal Kombat 11 are shown off with one of them being a new character to the Mortal Kombat franchise in general As we loom ever closer to the release of Mortal Kombat 11, we have even more characters getting the announcement and showcasing. Most of which had been leaked out there by some people who do not know how to keep secrets and others are placed out there by NetherRealm Studios as no matter the leak no one can explain them besides the studio. One of those characters we had at the end of last week as we had The Kollector announced for Mortal Kombat 11 and shown off to the world during their normal weekly streams. Even though we saw the name, there was no true way to know what would be coming until now. Read More...

Have A New Lesson On The Gameplay Of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of April 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Ancestors A new developer series for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has started with the first going into the exploration of Ancestors’ map A new taste for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is here in the way of a developer diary of sorts to take us on a bit more of the exploration in the game. Specifically that feature in the game as Panache Digital Games has opted to leave out the maps for us and require us to do it all on our own. Not the worst of ideas, but it will be a shift from what we know in open world games like Ancestors. Read More...

Welcome Cetrion To The Roster For Mortal Kombat 11
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of April 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat A new elder god has entered Mortal Kombat and we have our first look along with other details for Mortal Kombat 11 just before launch Another new character is coming to Mortal Kombat 11, and we now get to see her in action. While it does feel like many of the characters NetherRealm Studios is bringing us here are from the older titles, we at least have a few new ones peppered in. That is what Cetrion seems to be doing here even if she is an elder god from the Mortal Kombat universe here to make things feel a little unfair. I could have sworn that they were supposed to all stay out of it. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 11 Has Three More Classic Characters Coming Back
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat Three more characters are revealed for Mortal Kombat 11 and they all are from past Mortal Kombat titles we have all loved The blitz for updates on Mortal Kombat 11 is on us as we have three more characters to bring up with a nice new trailer. Some of them were alluded to in past trailers given to us from NetherRealm Studios, but all of them come from past titles. Not the biggest of surprises given that we are going back in time with the story here in Mortal Kombat 11. It would be weird if we did not get to see Jax, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao in this game. Chernobylite Has A Gameplay Tease Just Before Things Kick Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Chernobylite The first gameplay for Chernobylite is here to get us all ready to help fund more of Chernobylite through an upcoming Kickstarter We had a few things for Chernobylite in the past and now is the time we have a small taste of gameplay just as GDC comes to a close. It also is here to mark the fact that The Farm 51 will be looking for some additional funds to get the game completed and out to us as they are getting the Kickstarter campaign wheels rolling. Thankfully, this will be to add in extra things for Chernobylite while offering up extras for soon-to-be fans and not something that will make or break the game at this point. That is still a bit off, so we cannot go too deep into what that will entail. Read More...

Mutant Year Zero A new bit of DLC is coming to Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden soon as Switch gamers will have a chance to take Mutant Year Zero on the go as well There has been a lot to come out of GDC this year and another cool announcement that came out is that Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden will be heading to the Nintendo Switch. Of course, there is a bit more than just that but it is almost never presented in that way. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Is No Longer A Hidden Secret
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The announcement is here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 with Bloodlines 2 aiming for a Q1 2020 release window Words cannot describe how excited I am as Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is now announced, but I will do my best here. Even though there is not much in the way of details for the game and an announcement trailer from Paradox Interactive to take in, we now know that all of the rumors from the past are now truths. All with Hardsuit Labs behind the screen developing the game and setting us up for a fun Q1 in 2020. Not only that, but it also looks like Bloodlines 2 will be hitting up the PS4 and Xbox One alongside a solid PC release. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 11 Brings Another Kahn Forward With New Beta Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat We have a new look at Kotal Kahn for Mortal Kombat 11 with Jacqui in tow with some new details on the Mortal Kombat 11 closed beta The announcement that Kotal Kohn was coming to Mortal Kombat 11 given that he showed up in the story trailer and other views in the past. That is not the news here, though, as we have new gameplay from the game and NetherRealm Studios has shown him in action fighting Jacqui Briggs in the latest trailer for the game. Even though it is listed as his reveal trailer, it truly highlights the other character and level in Mortal Kombat 11 more than Kotal. Not that this is an issue at all. Read More...
