Of course you do. In fact I have the game play that I got to watch for my E3 Impressions for The Evil Within here. Not exact as in step by step, but I do have all the sections that I was shown in the dark room. I knew if we waited patiently until the Eurogamer Expo that just took place we would get to see it in the wilds of the internet. Just to get the ball rolling for you, the game play picks up right after the initial trailer that was shown at TGS. This weekend is the Tokyo Game Show and we are slated to get a whole lot of new gaming information that isn't revolving around GTAV. For instance, we have below a nice High Quality trailer for Bethesda and Tango Gameworks' survival horror game The Evil Within. E3 2013 Impression: The Evil Within

I would be lying if I said that The Evil Within wasn't the biggest reason for me to go to E3 this year. Between TEW and Murdered I could have left fulfilled early. Even though I didn't get my hands on the game, I was overly impressed with what we were shown during the closed door demo. Here's a bit more on what got my jaw to drop and people screaming in the room. If you are a fan of Resident Evil 4 then you might as well already through your money at TEW. All of the game play mechanics, camera tricks, and scenarios that made RE4 and amazing game look to be what was used as the base for this game. Read More...

The E3 Daylight Trailer Is Just As Cryptic As The Game

Back during PAX we got a little bit of hands-on with Daylight and the developers were a bit close lipped about some of the specifics even while we were playing the demo. As you move through an abandoned hospital with but your phone for light and direction you encounter cryptic things about the environment that we had to piece together to continue. A nice little feature that isn't all that common in games today and with the below E3 trailer it looks like it is going to move into their PR for the game as well. Here Are A Few New Screenshots Of The Evil Within, But No New Info

Talk about being tight lipped. While most other larger titles are getting new trailers and information spewed all over the internet leading up to E3 it looks like The Evil Within is holding back. Well holding back a bit as you will see a few "new" screenshots below but nothing new to add to the overall game. PAX East Hands On: Daylight

I’ve said it before; it's tough not to grab my attention when I get shown a video game. But it is tough to pull me away from one that already has my attention. Zombie Studios showcased their game Daylight at the Astro Headset Booth, which was close to Square Enix, my favorite developer/publisher, and right next to Wizards of the Coast, makers of my favorite TCG, Magic: The Gathering. PAX East Hands On: Outlast

PAX East was home to many Indie games this year. So many, that most of the games were located in a section called the Indie Mega Booth. Outlast was one of the games that had their setup in this area. Outlast comes from the brand new indie developers Red Barrels. The company is a 10 man team from Montreal, with each person having experience working with companies such as THQ, EA, and Ubisoft. The team joined up to create and deliver incredibly unforgettable single-player games. The Phantom Pain - New IP Or Sequel/Prequel

Since the first trailer for The Phantom Pain was shown during the 2012 VGAs, there has been a butt load of internet chatter and "conspiracy theories," if you can use that term here, over if it is linked to the Metal Gear franchise or a new IP from a new studio. Internet sleuthing seems to point more toward the prior over the latter, but what if it is a whole new IP? Is Silent Hill Downpour Going To Have Child Abuse Now?

Most likely not, unless the new trailer for Silent Hill: Downpour from Tokyo Game Show 2011 is sending hidden messages other mixed in with the new visuals and little bit of story. They did just use Korn here and while the music adds a bit of creep to the whole thing, it is an interesting choice given the music the band started out with. While their themes would be a bit fitting for the town of Silent Hill, I think we are still a way off from Konami adding that into the mix. I could be wrong. Read More...

Comparing Silent Hill: Downpour To Alan Wake...

So I was trolling around the net, as I am want to do, and I stumbled across some interesting discussions surrounding Silent Hill: Downpour. Primarily people talking about how the latest screen shots, seen below, are very reminiscent to some of the visuals in Alan Wake. So close to the point where I have seen a few people state that Konami is just ripping off from the game. There is also some people trying to defend the fact that because it looks close it doesn't mean it is a rip off. I would say they are interesting points except for the fact that Alan Wake was almost a blatant rip off of a franchise that was around for years prior. Read More...
