This Week In Video Games 2/16/15 — 2/20/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of February 2015 - 12:01 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Let's wrap this week of video game news on a high note. That sound good to us all? Of course it does as it has been another fun and exciting week in the video game industry. There were no huge cancellations or studios closing so there is a win. That is if we skip over the news that Spawn might make it into Mortal Kombat X. That could be another huge win. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/9/15 — 2/13/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 14th of February 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Way to wrap a week in video games on a high not right? With Valentine's Day tomorrow I was expecting things to be very slow and filled with the normal PR bullshit that game developers and publishers send out. You know those little images and quick videos to show how much they supposedly care outside of just wanting our money. 2K was doing is all week for Borderlands. Instead of just all of that though we ended with a nice new Valentine's Day trailer for Until Dawn and some cool Mortal Kombat news. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/2/15 — 2/6/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 7th of February 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Well that was a fun and stressful week for video games and for us. It may look like we favored the same small group of games all week but in all honesty Mortal Kombat X, Game Of Thrones, and Dying Light just had so much to cover. Hells we even had three reviews this week and two of them were in that short list you just read. Nothing like being able to keep us all up to date on titles that are currently out there hoping to win over the collective and ever black hearts of us gamers huh? Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/26/15 — 1/30/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 31st of January 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This has been another fun roller coaster in video game news hasn't it? We had two new characters for Mortal Kombat X announced. We had a new beta for Battlefield Hardline revealed. There was also a plethora of new information for all kinds of other games out there or coming soon. Not to mention on the heels of PAX South came all of the news that was generally reserved for the panels and fans that could make down for that event. It sucks for most but at least we are here to make sure you don't miss out on a thing in video games news. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/19/15 — 1/23/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 24th of January 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games The weekend is finally here and for those not at PAX South it is time to hunker down and play those sweet video games that we've been talking about all week. Or at least dig into those backlogs. I know I still have a huge backlog but Gat Out Of Hell and Saints Row IV are taking up a good chunk of that time. I need to get those whittled down so I can at least only have them in the background while I get ready to focus on titles like Dying Light and Life Is Strange. Hells, even Evolve though that is still a few more weeks away. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/12/15 — 1/16/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 17th of January 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games There we go with the first real week of video games news. Loads and loads of new stuff and we were only able to cover so much, as usual. Evolve and Battlefield Hardline have been some of the bigger things but we can forget about the two new characters fully revealed for Mortal Kombat X and all of the horror titles we can look forward to in the near future. That being Until Dawn for the PS4 and the recently announced Friday The 13th title in the works. Like I said, a whole lot in the first real week of video games news. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/5/15 — 1/9/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 10th of January 2015 - 12:15 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Here we go for the end of another week in video games. While not everything here was directly for the software side of things we did have some great highlights for the hardware side and then a bit of software. I blame CES bringing us so many cool things to play our video games with. Could you imaging Resident Evil running with the Oculus Rift or Morpheus. Or maybe allow all of us who are not parkour masters to run through Dying Light and give us all a feel of the action. Read More...

Straight Out Of CES Comes The LyteShot Kickstarter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
LyteShot, a new gaming platform, was shown off at CES 2015 and has had its Kickstarter campaign kicked off This may be the first time you've heard of LyteShot but I've heard a few things and had the pleasure of seeing things up close and personal at CES here this week. Nothing in action outside of the below Kickstarter video for the gaming platform but if you can use your imagination, as the platform wants, then you can see how this could be the next great addition to gaming; both video and physical. If you follow along here you may get to understand and have a hand in bringing the whole thing to light. Pun intended. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/29/14 — 1/2/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 3rd of January 2015 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Hopefully this will be the last of the slow weeks for video games here. At least in the news side of things. We do have CES rolling out here in under a week so we may get to see some of the great new gadgets, audio devices, and video displays that will impress us when we get to play Mortal Kombat X and The Witcher 3 later this year. We'll be all over that next week for your reading and hopefully viewing pleasure. Until then, let us focus on those video games that we can look at now. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/22/14 — 12/26/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 27th of December 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Even though it was a holiday week we still managed to scrape up quite a bit of news for video games now didn't we? Usually it is bone dry when it comes around the Christmas holidays but we still were able to find out a few things on Final Fantasy XV and Evolve. The rest was more or less filler and nothing all too new and exciting but I guess that is what happens when we let all those developers and publishers go home and enjoy their families. Why would we ever want to do that? Read More...

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays From All Your Game Devs
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We've collected some of the random virtual Christmas Cards and holiday well wishes from developers and publishers for you Ho ho homicide has to have been one of the best Christmas greetings I have yet to see from a video game studio or publisher this holiday season and I've seen quite a few over the last few days. Tis the season that all of those who make our favorite form of media to try and give back to all of those who keep their families fed. Or at least try to for those who are most likely going to cry and whine to their parents if they didn't get the latest Blizzard expansion or the pre-orders for all of those games coming out next year. This Week In Video Games 12/15/14 — 12/19/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of December 2014 - 12:03 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games While others are letting the news for video games fall to the side lines or into the wastes, we are hard at work keep it all flowing for you. We're going to be spending a lot more time here with our video games here in short time so we need to keep up to date with what will be coming once we have no time to play them all again. Isn't this industry nice? With Evolve, Dying Light, and the Call Of Duty DLC coming you need to be reminded while trying to still enjoy #killallzombies or Grand Theft Auto V right? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 13th of December 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Now that we are in the wake of the PlayStation Experience and all of those games that were show at the show, you should have expected all those hands on and reports that we gave. If this is your first time reading anything on the site here then you are in for a treat as there were a whole lot of games from Until Dawn to Resident Evil. All kinds of games in the mix of just general news as we joked about at the end of last week. We were also on the scene to make sure we were able to cover it all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/1/14 — 12/5/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 6th of December 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games While technically this posting is a wrap up for what happened in the work week for video games, there is so much going on over the weekend that I'm going to use it for a springboard to cover The Game Awards and the PlayStation Experience that will be kicking off shortly after you have finished reading what I am typing here. You may also have a bit of time to dig into some of the other gaming news we've had on the site over the week as well. If nothing else you can at least read through our review for Game Of Thrones — Iron From Ice while waiting or getting set up to watch the re-broadcasts of whatever you may want to see this weekend.
