Mortal Kombat A trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat animated film, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, is here for us to look and get excited for It is time for Mortal Kombat to come at us all again as we have another film to look towards here this Spring. No, we are not talking about the still upcoming live-action film that is coming but a nice little animated film that will carry on the story from the 2011 title from NetherRealm Studios. Hopefully, your memory goes back that far and you can dig into all of that. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It was a short week but still one filled with all manner of video games out there for us all to enjoy. Nothing overly groundbreaking or mind-blowing, but we did have some stuff to keep us going. Darksiders A new trailer for Darksiders Genesis shows off how the creature core system of Darksiders Genesis will let you evolve the abilities of War and Strife Here we go with more to look at for Darksiders Genesis with a look at the Creature Core system we will be playing within the game. The fun little system that will have us upgrading and advancing our abilities in the game once we take down enemies and bosses. We are going to have to do it some way so that Airship Syndicate can keep us all locked into the game a bit longer than a few levels of the same thing, right? Darksiders While at E3, I was able to see Darksiders Genesis in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Darksiders Genesis. Many of us before and during E3 were hoping to see a new Darksiders game come out and it was teased heavily before the event. It was also revealed by THQ Nordic that we were actually going to be getting another entry in the series from Airship Syndicate that would take us all down a different path for the gameplay. At least we have the final horseman to join us for this ride. Something I am looking forward to after having a bit of time with Darksiders Genesis and knowing there is still time to update and alter things that may not have flowed just right. Read More...
