Strife Is In Your Face One More Time For Darksiders Genesis

Darksiders

A new trailer for Darksiders Genesis is here to re-introduce us to Strife again just before the PC launch of Darksiders Genesis

In just about a week, PC gamers will be able to jump into Darksiders Genesis and relive all of the glory of War and Strife in the game's history. You should be well aware of this by now as we have used this line to open up about new videos so many times already. December 5th is almost here and Airship Syndicate have put the finishing touches on the game here and now is the time to get to meet the last horseman we have yet to experience. Well, meet again as we have seen Strife so many time in the past for Darksiders Genesis, but this is what THQ Nordic wants for now. It is not like we will not have a load of gameplay to look at next week and all…

As the video here says, we have an introduction back to Strife and his personality in Darksiders. Something that we have seen as a bit more "smart-assy" and "quipy" if you ask me. Something that is a bit more lighthearted than all of the others we have seen or heard of to date. Everyone else is so serious and it is nice to have a bit of a change with the latest title. Maybe it will be something that carries over into a future Darksiders title where all of them are in action. Something that I know many will look forward to after enjoying everything that Genesis is about to bring us. Have a look at Strife now and let the wait continue.

Darksiders Genesis — Introducing Strife

One… Two Three.

Strife, the Rider of the White Horse, is both impulsive and witty, true to the motto "Shoot first, ask questions later" or "Two Guns, one Horseman".

He is the one who has blood on his boots on a pretty much constant basis. He fought countless enemies with his two best friends, Mercy and Redemption and the protection of his impenetrable armor. Always by his side is Mayhem, Strife's phantom steed.

In Darksiders Genesis you can choose to play either War or his brother Strife, and head into combat side by side in two-player cooperative mode (couch co-op trash talk, but also online). The story takes place before the events of the original game when Lucifer, the enigmatic and deceptive demon king, plots to upset the Balance by granting power to master demons throughout Hell.

Were you expecting more for Darksiders Genesis at this point or will you just be looking for the solid game at this point? DO you like the change for Strife from all of the others or did you want something a bit grimmer as the others have been? Are you hopeful to see a title like this one but featuring all four of the horsemen at some point? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. If there is more for Darksiders Genesis, we will share it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and much more.
