Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It has been one wild week here for video games, and we need to place a solid pin in it, or we are going to lose our minds. Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles Launches Us All Into The Battlefield
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Tactics The launch for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles is here, and we can dig into the combat Final Fantasy Tactics offers The battlefield is opening back up for us to control, as we see Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles launching out there. A slice of nostalgia for those who have been with Square Enix for a while now, but with all of the upgrades, many wish the game had had in the first place. Okay, maybe the younger me did not think about it at the time, but the older me would have appreciated it back when Final Fantasy Tactics first dropped. Now that September 30th is here and we get to experience the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC, we will be able to see if this will be the defined edition I wish I could send back in time. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of September 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Tactics Take in the opening cinematic for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles to get yourself ready for Final Fantasy Tactics to launch It is always a weird thing for me to think about that there is a good portion of the gaming community that has yet to experience Final Fantasy Tactics. Granted, this is a title that Square Enix placed out there for us all so many years ago, and it was more of a cult classic title than anything widespread out there. With September 30th on the way to us all, more will get to experience it all with Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles coming to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC again. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of June 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy Final Fantasy fans are going to be getting yet another blast from the past with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles Another classic case of something that started out as a rumor and now is a real thing, with the announcement for Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Gives Us All Some Final Gameplay To Enjoy Before Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 7th of February 2024 - 10:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy New gameplay for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is here as well as a bit of a demo for us to enjoy before the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth We knew there was a lot to come out for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with the latest State of Play that went down, but I do not think everyone expected to have as much as we did. Not only did Square Enix give us all one more trailer to look at before the game launches on the PS5 this coming February 29th, but we also have a demo and a whole lot of new gameplay. Not new gameplay as in we have not seen it before, but new gameplay that are features and functions that were not even in the Final Fantasy VII Remake or Intergrade versions of things. Read More...

Final Fantasy Get back up to speed for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with another recap of Final Fantasy VII Remake out there With the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth only a month away on February 29th for the PS5, it is high time to get back out there and give the game a solid playthrough one more time to get caught up.
