New Screen Shots of Damnation Steam Punk is totally getting a new go around to be popular. Well not that it was very mainstream popular before, but Codemasters seems to be giving it a fighting chance with their new IP Damnation. A third person shooter game that looks like it has a bit of Parkour or free movement added in to make the game a little more in line with what current games are almost demanding now. Think kind of like Mirror's Edge, but with shooting people and a bunch of technology run off the power of steam. Ok, so I was lucky enough to receive a Call of Duty 5 beta invite!!!! (aka I just joined the COD website a few days before the beta opening) There isn't too much to say about Call of Duty 5, it's basically just Call of Duty 4 with a different look... errr era. In the beta you get to play 3 maps multi-player, Roundhouse, Castle, and Makin. All 3 maps are awesome. Call of Duty 5: World at War, is the next installment in the popular CoD series. The game has been rumored to be released later this year on the PC, PS3, X360 and the Wii. The game will be taking a step back in time from the prior CoD game, Modern Warfare, and will be set in the Pacific during World War 2. The Wii version is expected to be Wii Zapper compatible. As an avid mac fan one thing that seriously sucks is the lack of games that are made for the mac. Once I heard that COD4 was going to made for the mac, I was insanely excited, I counted down the days til May and checked http://www.aspyr.com/product/info/88 as often as I could to try and find a release date. TeamXbox has a copy of the PR: Activision announced today fiscal year 2008 and fourth quarter results, confirming that the fifth installment in the Call of Duty series will arrive this fiscal year.
