Metro 2039 Will Bring Us One Step Closer To Becoming The Stranger
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of August 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Metro The collector’s edition for Metro 2039 has been announced, and it will bring us all a bit deeper into the Metro While we still might not have a release date for Metro 2039 to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC at this time, it does feel like that news is going to hit us all very soon. I say that, as 4A Games and Deep Silver have now let the cat out of the box to show off what we will be getting in the Collector's Edition of the game. It is not ready for pre-order as of yet, but all Metro fans are going to want to take note of this, as it brings the game to us physically and with a big extra bit for real life. That last part being that this edition will also house a full-size replica of the Stranger's Helmet from the game so we can wear it all while playing through all of the madness the IP is about to give us. A market that already has a lot of mascot horror, nightmare rides, and a 1950s resort. The difference is that Twisted Tower has all of those wrapped up into one game instead of over various different titles out there. Read More...

Games Will Be Getting Much Less Physical On The PlayStation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
PlayStation Sony will stop making physical PlayStation games in 2028, and claiming it is all because of how we play PlayStation games If the news about Sony removing movies that you might have purchased on the PlayStation did not already rub you the wrong way, get ready for that to flow over into your video games in the future. In a decision where the writing was already on the wall, it looks like they will be halting all physical disc production of games when January 2028 rolls around. From the sounds of it, it will be all PlayStation games and not those that are first-party titles on the consoles moving forward. Read More...

Metro 2039 Has Us All Waking Up To The New Future Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of April 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Metro The world of Metro is finally on its way back, with the first reveal and look at the upcoming Metro 2039 True to the word, we have the full reveal and first looks at Metro 2039 after that nice little tease 4A Games gave us at the beginning of the week. Not only all of that, but we have some gameplay and a solid feel for where the title is going. It looks as if Metro 2039 is going to head back into the darkness we all knew from the start, but in a way that is more a reflection of the real-world issues going on and how choices in life can lead to these dark places. That is more of the meta side of things, but I am guessing that Deep Silver will also want you to see just where the game is going to go when it launches this Winter on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
