Walk About The New Horror World A Bit More In REVEIL
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of September 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
New footage for REVEIL is here and it gives us one more massive look at the terror we might feel when REVEIL launches The world of REVEIL is back once more to give us a darker look at the world that Pixelsplit has been working on. Perfect timing to get us all further prepared for the spooky season that is incoming as well as giving them all something to show the world during Fear Fest 2023 too. I will focus a bit more on the latter since we get new looks at just how we are going to be walking about in the world of REVEIL. I know I will say it every time, but giving me a creepy circus or carnival will always pull me right into the mix of a game no matter how the gameplay functions out there. Read More…

Fear Fest Offers Up Some New Bloody Carnage For Gori: Cuddly Carnage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of September 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Gori is back in the mix with the demo for Gori: Cuddly Carnage smashing some massive numbers just in time for Fear Fest 2023 For those that may not have known, Gori: Cuddly Carnage has a demo out there on the PC for us all to give a try with. A demo that has shown us just how well Angry Demon Studio has made the game so far as well as given us some unicorn limb slicing fun in the mix. I mention all of this, as it seems due to the amount of limbs Gori has sliced in the demo with our help along with Fear Fest 2023 taking place, we have a new trailer to look at for the game. All to get us further ready to see how well the game could play when it launches on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More…

Mortal Kombat 1 Will Have Even More Blood Flowing In The Game Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of September 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
One more blast from the Mortal Kombat past is here to expand the roster of Mortal Kombat 1 just a bit more This seems to be a big week for vampires, as now we have the announcement that Nitara is coming in with Mortal Kombat 1 on September 19th. You read that correctly. NetherRealm Studios is dropping the Outworld Vampire into the fight from so long ago and with all manner of updates that we should be looking for. Although, at this point, it feels like they were just looking to remake Mortal Kombat: Deception for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC instead. I jest, but it does feel like the roster is mostly coming from that title and various others that were not all that well-received. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of September 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
A new look at Deceit 2 is here just before the new release date to remind us all how to play the game of Deceit The fun of Deceit 2 is coming in a little bit more of a wait with September 14th still a little way off out there. That does not lower much of the excitement that World Makers has built up for this title on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC but something worth noting here for now. In just a few more weeks and we will be able to head into the social deduction action that Deceit 2 has been building up. Even if some of it does not fully track based on the little bits we have had before. Read More…

El Tigre & April O’Neil Are On The Case In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of September 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Two more characters are here for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 with one of them feeling like a nice hidden gem from the Nickelodeon line-up Here we go with two more characters coming out to shine for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. One of them is a classic character we knew was going to have to be back in the mix while the other feels like a deep cut from Fair Play Labs to fill the roster out a bit more. Maybe it is a deep cut or maybe it is not, but that is how it feels for me with El Tigre and my knowledge of Nickelodeon shows from over the years. With April O'Neil being the other big one here for when the game lands on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More…

Dark Atlas: Infernum Will Walk Us Into The Oldest Occult Order Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of September 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
The announcement for Dark Atlas: Infernum is here to take us down a walk into the world of Dark Atlas sometime next year Psychological horror is getting one more title in the mix with the announcement we have here for Dark Atlas: Infernum. A new title on the way to us all from Night Council Studio and SelectaPlay to give us even more terror in our worlds than we need. As long as you can survive until 2024 to see Dark Atlas: Infernum drop on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is not that far off and it gives the teams involved much more of the time to make sure we are not ready for what is to come. Read More…

Alone In The Dark Will Be Holding Off The Horrors Until Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of September 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
The new Alone In The Dark is going to be a bit further out now with the recent delay announcement for Alone In The Dark Just when we thought we were going to be seeing Alone In The Dark back out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this October… we find out that we are going to have to wait a bit longer. Yes, sadly, we have a delay on the way to us all from Pieces Interactive for the game and it will now no longer be hitting the Halloween season out there. Even if it would be the perfect time for Alone In The Dark to land out there. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of September 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
A new update for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here to let us know that Bloodlines 2 is rising from the dead again Gods, it has been a hard road here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, but here we are with a new update to share with the world out there. After the last one where Paradox Interactive let the world know that the game was on an indefinite delay and dropping the studio that was working on it, we were all left wondering what was to be. Hells, I am still fighting with them to get my refund from the game I pre-ordered three years ago now. That is a story for a different day, though, as during PAX West here, we have the announcement that The Chinese Room will be taking over the work on Bloodlines 2. Read More…

A lot has gone on this week in video games. This October is going to be a packed one, so make sure to take full note of that before we get there and have to figure out when we are going to be playing Super Mario Bros. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of September 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Go further behind the scenes for Alan Wake 2 with a look at how some of the environments in Alan Wake 2 will also talk to us It is time to slip between the cracks once more with Alan Wake 2 to see more of the titular character and how the world has evolved for him. It has been a rough go from where Remedy Entertainment left the character at the end of the main game before, so it would be nice to get a bit of a feel for what is going on with Alan Wake before the game drops. That is still set for October 27th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC before you forget. So there is some time but not as much as many would like to have. Read More…
