Mortal Kombat
The next Mortal Kombat character, Ermac, is coming on back in with more souls into Mortal Kombat 1
The DLC keeps on flowing out there for Mortal Kombat 1 just as the blood and violence of the game. Here we have the next character coming back into the IP with NetherRealm Studios putting the final touches on Ermac. All so we can experience what he has to bring to the fight again on April 23rd. Well, April 14th for those who have that little Early Access for the Mortal Kombat 1 DLC. Then you will be able to take some of these new souls for a ride and see how this legion will dominate the lands one more time. Along with another new Kameo character too…
Here we get to see Ermac back in action for Mortal Kombat 1 and housing even more souls from his time out there. Not only that, but also takes a more decrepit look about him and uses more of that magic to enforce many of his moves. One would think this would be something that could have been rewritten too, but it looks like Liu Kang needed to have something like this in the new reality. Along with another Mortal Kombat alumni in the way of Mavado coming back in as a Kameo character too. Soon we will be able to use both of these characters to dominate the matches and see more of the world expand beyond what we already have out there.
Mortal Kombat 1 — Ermac Gameplay
The power of Legion lies within.
Ermac joins Mortal Kombat 1 in Early Access April 16, full release April 23. Mavado joins the Kameo roster later in May.

I have slowly been more and more of a fan of Ermac over the years, and this has to be one of my favorite iterations of him. At least to look at as I still have yet to experience the character in play. That is coming soon, for sure. I am a bit curious about the reasons why for this character, but maybe that will be explained in some little dialogue in the matches or scenes to play out in the mix. Then we have Mavado, which feels like another one of those deep cuts from a Mortal Kombat title that was not well-received at all but the team needed to bring back. Almost what this whole game has felt like when it came to all of the side characters and a few of the core ones we had at launch.
What do you think about how Ermac looks and plays in this one, or would you have rather them keep one of the versions from a different Mortal Kombat title? Will there be a good reason to keep this character around in the story or is that all ignored just so we can have some better kills and fighters in the mix? What about the Kameo characters and do you remember Mavado from the past? Tell us all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. If there is more to share for Mortal Kombat 1, and we know there will be, then we will share it all here for you. Please keep on checking in for those updates and the many others we have to come.
