Final Fantasy XV Opens Up Another Secret Passage In The Recent Update
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV New areas for Final Fantasy XV are opening up as another Final Fantasy XV patch is out with free content before the paid DLC I hope you are ready to dive back into Final Fantasy XV and give that infamous Chapter 13 another a play through. If not, it is okay but you'll be missing out on a few things as Square Enix has released a new update for the game that brings us a different path to take and shake up what many thought was a weird bit to the game's progression. Ask anyone, myself included, things went rather "off" for Final Fantasy XV at that point in the game and now it looks like there is going to be a bit of a fix to it. All of this due to the new bit of DLC for the game coming out tomorrow in the way of Episode Gladiolus. Read More...

by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 27th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. We've had some time and now we delve into a full review of Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello again Mass Effect fans. Welcome to my review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I won’t take much time discussing bugs and things I covered in my first impressions article, but I will get the bad out of the way first. If you’re going to pick this game up then get a can of Raid with it because the bugs are plentiful. One experience I had was on a mission you get from Vetra. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game's Full Cast Of Counselors Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th New shot of Friday The 13th's counselors has been placed out there to give us a feel for who we will play in Friday The 13th that's not Jason It's been a wait but here we go with Friday The 13th: The Game getting some more time in the sun. No, we don't have a release date for everyone out there as it is still set for Early 2017, but what we do have is a look at all of the counselors in the game that Illfonic and Gun Media have crafted side-by-side. All ten of our victims counselors are no present for Friday The 13th and all filling their specific roles that have been placed out there for them. The finer details on that have still yet to be disclosed, but at least we have a look at them as we had a look at all of the Jason versions already as well. Read More...

Get Ready To Launch Some Fools With Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Bulletstorm A launch trailer for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition has been released to show us even more on how Bulletstorm has been upgraded and worth our time and money again In case you forgot, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will be launching on April 7th here for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We've brought this up before as this is the remastered version of People Can Fly's insane, bullet-hell driven title from a while back that had a nice little following for it. It's been given a bit of a tune up and a fresh coat of paint and will soon be out there for everyone to drive around like an asshole if they wish. That is not a testament to what I think of Bulletstorm mind you, just a fitting description of how it all came together again based on the titles themes and setting. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]

It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing down in Australia now as the ratings board down there has given the game a classification of R18+. This comes a week after were first caught wind that they refused to give the game a rating due to some of the graphic things that Red Barrels had in the game; particularly one scene. But the worry is now over as it has been resolved and now we all get to see and experience Outlast 2 on April 25th. Read More...

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's Next Episode Is Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's third episode has finally been released as soon we can see how this part of The Walking Dead plays out Last week we had a nice little tease for the third episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. It showed off a nice little bit of what we could expect in this episode but also looked like it was very focused on the pre-end history of Javier's and little more than that. This week it looks like Telltale Games has given us all the launch trailer for the episode, it still launches on March 28th though, and it definitely goes down a path a bit of a different path than previously thought; all of which in a good way. I had little doubt that this version of The Walking Dead would leave us hanging in a weird spot. Read More...

Find Out More On Just Who Prey's Morgan Yu Really Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Prey A new developer diary for Prey is out and it dives right into Prey's protagonist, who they are and why they are going through the hell that they do in the game By now we all know that we will be playing our own version of Morgan Yu in Prey so we can be fully immersed. Arkane Studios has given us the option to play as male or female in the game and all without sacrificing any of the story for one or the other. Pretty nice even though Prey is a FPS and we'll only really see the character's hands in this regard, but there are a few scenes and tidbits that will show off the gender. You know, because this is something that is truly needed to be a focus instead of just telling an amazing story. Read More...

Another From The House Of El Shatters Injustice 2's Alliances Further
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The third Shattered Alliances trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped and it places Super Girl at odds with Injustice 2's other heroes even further Here we go with our third installment of the Shattered Alliances trailers for Injustice 2 and this one is all about Super Girl and her role in the epic fight(s) that are to come. It even looks like we are going to be getting a few call backs to the House Of El's past here from NetherRealm Studios based on this trailer which I hope will point to the bigger bad guy that has yet to have much focus; Brainiac. He's in Injustice 2 and affects the whole story somehow, but as it seems right now it has all been about the heroes of the DC universe dealing with the aftermath of the first Injustice story. Resident Evil 7 Almost Had A Family Dog & Other Aspects That Were Cut
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A new video series for Resident Evil 7 has kicked off to show us all the fun things Resident Evil 7 almost had as well as how the game was designed from the start By now most of us have played, beaten, and moved onto the DLC for Resident Evil 7 as it has been a rather successful venture into bringing the series back to where it began. All of the other recent titles were a little shaky, to Capcom's dismay, but now it seems like they have figured out how to give the fans what they want. As with all games though, Resident Evil 7 wasn't just an idea and then a final product, but another title with a long development process filled with all kinds of choices and paths that led us to a rather well done title. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]

I know that hasn't been a lot of time to enjoy the game for all of you PC gamers out there, but for those Xbox One fans it looks like Capcom is going to give you even more reasons to keep playing outside of the time of year that the game is set in. In fact, with this new DLC for Dead Rising 4 we are going to get a rather nice bit of extra story to play as we see our favorite character down in the dumps further. Read More...

First Impressions — Mass Effect: Andromeda
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 21st of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. The game just came out but here's some quick reasons to buy or not buy Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello, dear readers. This is more of a first impression than an actual review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I picked this game up early and due to my schedule at the beginning of writing this, I am only about five hours into the game. I also played this pre-patch, but I do realize as time goes on and patches get released from BioWare it may render some of these observations irrelevant. I felt this was pertinent information to let you know as I will have a complete review for Mass Effect: Andromeda sometime following this one, but to also let you know how this Mass Effect is right now if you are wary about picking it up due to the ‘animation’ controversy. Try To Stay Safe And Dry As Narcosis Set In Here Real Soon
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Narcosis A new trailer for Narcosis has released for all to look at as we wait for Narcosis to launch on its many platforms in a little over a week It's been one long trip but it looks like we are almost there as Narcosis finally launches on March 28th here. What once started as a student project has budded up into the debut of Honor Code's first title for the Xbox One, PC, and Oculus. Not too shabby at all and that is apparently not all of the platforms for Narcosis as it is still listed as coming to "other platforms" but by now a good portion of us all know how that can be. It can be rough to get things through verification for those who don't know. Read More...

Rumor Has It We Could See Assassin’s Creed Empire Before The End Of 2017
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed A retail listing for Assassin’s Creed Empire has many thinking that we could see the next Assassin’s Creed title before the end of this year The rumor mill is back at it again and here we are with more Assassin’s Creed Empire rumors and speculation of sorts. That would be the assumed titled from all of the other leaked information for the next title in the franchise that Ubisoft has yet to confirm. None the less we are here because it looks like that time to confirm things is dwindling down as a Swiss retailer is already showing Assassin’s Creed Empire as having a release before the end of 2017. The fourth quarter of 2017 to be exact and seeing how the site is still listing it as of this article, it may be something to take a look at for now. Read More...
