Final Fantasy Final Fantasy XVI pushes things forward with a new trailer showing off the scale of this new Final Fantasy world There is a whole lot of ambition going into Final Fantasy XVI and that is more than just a cheeky statement based on the latest trailer we have to look at. We knew it was going to be massive when Square Enix made the announcement and showed off the basics of what was going to come to the PS5 in the Summer of 2023, but here we get a better look at a few things. Final Fantasy Final Fantasy fans need to get ready to jump back into the mix with Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - Reunion getting a release date It is always great to get fun and unexpected updates as we have here for Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - Reunion with the release date getting set and meeting the original timeline that was set with Winter of 2022. Forspoken A new delay for Forspoken is set down with Forspoken now heading to an early 2023 release date It is starting to feel as if Forspoken is never going to make it out, as we have one more delay set for the game now. A delay that will have it heading to the PS5 and PC in 2023 now instead of this coming October. I am sure it was a hard choice to make by Luminous Productions, but now we can mark down January 24th, 2023 for Forspoken to finally come out. Final Fantasy The next major chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake is finally coming to us with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth announced Gods, it has been an insane wait for this but we have the announcement for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth to keep us all excited. No, this is not another remake title coming from Square Enix for the famed IP. This is the next title to keep the story going from the first big portion of Final Fantasy VII Remake on the PS5 and PC. Kingdom Hearts The next few Kingdom Hearts titles have been announced with Kingdom Hearts IV taking the IP even further Talk about feeling like it comes out of nowhere, as we have an official announcement for Kingdom Hearts IV out there now. Not only an announcement but Square Enix also had quite a bit of gameplay to show us and give us a whole new setting for the IP that goes a little beyond just the Disney aspect of it all. Even after the delay, it looks like things are progressing extremely fast for Luminous Productions and the timeline is shrinking with each passing day. That only gets compounded more when we get footage for Forspoken as we do today that dives into more of the world out there and some of the various things we will be facing off against that are trying to end it all. Forspoken There is a delay for Forspoken now and we will have to wait a few more months to experience Forspoken Here we go with a bit of some downer news, as Forspoken will no longer be coming to us all on May 24th. Yes, it looks like we have a new delay and we are going to have to wait a bit longer to get in on the game. Luminous Productions needs to take a few more months and we can now expect to see Forspoken land on the PS5 and PC on October 11th of this year. Babylon’s Fall Babylon’s Fall latest explains to us the inner workings of some of the combat coming in Babylon’s Fall In just over a week from now, we will be able to start our combat path in Babylon’s Fall on the PS4, PS5, and PC. It is rather crazy how fast March 3rd rolled up on us here and I am sure Platinum Games is ready to get the game in our hands. That would be one of the reasons that we have a new 101 video for Babylon’s Fall that will walk us through some of the basics of the game's combat. Babylon’s Fall Those looking to give Babylon’s Fall a try will be able to download a demo for Babylon’s Fall very soon It looks like those looking to test drive Babylon’s Fall before it hits the PS4 and PS5 will have their chance to do so. We are getting a demo on the platforms on February 25th as Platinum Games gears us all up for it all. Sadly, the PC will be missing out on this, but it is only a few days before Babylon’s Fall officially hits on March 3rd. Chrono Cross Chrono Cross is getting a remaster for the current-gen systems with the Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition The rumors and speculation of a past Chrono title coming back seem to have panned out, as we have the Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition coming our way now. Many may have been hoping for a full remake or remaster of a different title from Square Enix, but this is the one we are all going to get here. A new way to play Chrono Cross on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC with new 3D models, better background music, and other enhancements that should make combat flow a bit better. Kingdom Hearts Kingdom Hearts fans will be able to add the entire Kingdom Hearts library to their Switch this coming February If you thought that Kingdom Hearts was out there enough already on the various platforms and editions, it looks like we have one more to come to us just in time for the 20th anniversary. As you should have already been able to figure out already, we are getting the games on the Switch via the Cloud service that Nintendo has for us. This is most likely the fastest way for Square Enix to bring us all the Kingdom Hearts we could want to the platform. Read More...
