Way back in February we got a nice little teaser for Murdered: Soul Suspect. It left quite a bit to the imagination and then we heard bupkis. That is until now with the following trailer and tease for what will be shown next week at E3. I have to say it wasn't what my imagination went with but it looks downright awesome, even if it is mostly a pre-rendered trailer. Square Enix Keeps Final Fantasy XI Alive

To those of who still stick with Square Enix's MMO Final Fantasy XI, good news and new content is coming your way. Square is releasing Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin for PC and Xbox 360. From the press release: "The expansion will unfold a new adventure for players as the eighth century came to a close. The Royal Family, in partnership with the Eleven Knightly Orders, has agreed to abolish imperial rule — from which arose the Sacred City of Adoulin on the Ulbuka Continent. E3 2012 Impressions: Hitman: Absolution

Talk about a title I wish I would have had a chance to get some real hands on with at E3. Hitman: Absolution ranks right up there with Tomb Raider in level of excitement for Square Enix titles coming out. While it was on the show floor, there was not enough time in the day to play it but I did get to sit through a pretty cool demo that was geared towards showing some of the cool stuff we will get to have Agent 47 do. First and foremost I have to mention the visuals of the game. As to be expected given the six year gap between Blood Money and Absolution they have gone leaps and bounds over what we've seen in any of the previous games. Read More...

E3 2012 Impressions: Tomb Raider

Here we go for round two of the major showing of the Tomb Raider reboot and still nothing playable at E3 2012. While there was nothing playable on the show floor, there was a nice little demonstration behind the scenes that was all game play. The only caveat was that we were only allowed to sit and watch. Even with that being the case, I do have to say I was blown away with what I saw even though some of the game play mechanics seemed a bit off in terms of making sense in the world. Players will be able to jump back into the world of Ehb with new plot, more quests and lots more loot in Dungeon Siege III: Treasures Of The Sun™. In Dungeon Siege III: Treasures Of The Sun, players will extend their journey and travel beyond the borders of Ehb to an all-new environment: the Aranoi Desert. Final Fantasy XIII-2 Looks Amazing Even Without The Dress Sphere

I swear that Square Enix has sold their souls to someone other than me. When it comes to making games look amazing, they are by far one of the leaders in video game visuals.
