Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a bit of a rough week out here but we had some good video games in the mix of it all here. Not just the games side of things, but there was the drop of the first look at Twisted Metal out there while we wait for the upcoming Star Trek: Resurgence and Diablo IV to come out too. Layers Of Fear The world of Layers Of Fear is getting a massive overhaul with Layers Of Fears and now we have a new engine walkthrough for that Get your waffle fingers ready when it comes to Layers Of Fears, yes we are going to keep calling it that for now, as we get to see just how the latest in technology will be able to shake things up for the horror and immersion in the game. It has not been a hidden thing that Anshar Studios and Bloober Team have jumped fully into the Unreal 5 Engine and been looking to use it to the greatest of abilities. Immortals The first gameplay look at Immortals Of Aveum is finally here so we can see some of these Immortals in action before it launches Teases and more teases have been there for what we will actually get to experience in Immortals Of Aveum in terms of gameplay, but the teasing ends now. For the most part, with Ascendant Studios bringing us the true first look at the gameplay we can expect in this first-person spell-based shooter title. There is still a lot of time until July 20th gets here and we will be able to see what Immortals Of Aveum truly has on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but we will just need to take what we can get for now. God Of Rock The launch for God Of Rock is here with many of the gods calling out players to come and become the God Of Rock We have covered and had so much for God Of Rock on the site up to now, and here we are at the big day. Disney A new Disney character is on the way to Disney Speedstorm along with some new tracks and other character skills shown off Things keep speeding out there for Disney Speedstorm as we get closer to the April 18th Early Access day out there. All of what you are about to check out will be something that Gameloft will have in the mix on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. So, you can either wait until you have a chance to see how it all plays in Disney Speedstorm then, or we can dig in and see what is coming. Gollum Pre-orders for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum are ready with a version out there that even Gollum would approve of You can now pretend to be just like Gollum when it comes to the new game, as pre-orders are now open and we have a new version to keep an eye out for. This new one being the Precious Edition of the game and I am sure that Daedalic Entertainment is proud of coming up with the name. Immortals A release date for Immortals Of Aveum is now set for this July so we will soon be able to take up the ranks of the various Immortals out there The reveal for Immortals Of Aveum was not too long ago and it rather felt like it could be a title we were going to be waiting a longer time for. It was slated as a 2023 release from Ascendant Studios when it was first revealed, so it felt like it could be a title that we could see at the end of the year or getting pushed out to 2024. Disney The various Disney characters in the mix of Disney Speedstorm will have some unique skills to use during the various races The racing looks like it will not be the only mechanic we will be playing with in Disney Speedstorm, and now we have a look at what is to come. As it turns out, Gameloft will be adding in unique skills for each of the racers and we have one of those skills to look at today. A good thing, since we have only a little more time before we can get into the Early Access for Disney Speedstorm on April 18th. Disney Disney fans have much more to experience in Disney Dreamlight Valley with the Pride Lands opening up and many other park options One more update and event is here for Disney Dreamlight Valley as it is still all in the Early Access form of it all. You can still buy into the Founder's Pack of it all right now, and if you do so, you will get to see the Pride Lands in the mix for us all to explore. This is the next update out there to bring us all Disney's Lion King into the game with Simba and Nala as new companions for us to have. It would be a little nicer to get Timon and Pumbaa in my eyes, though, I will take any update we can get for this game as we still work to the full release of it all. Read More...
