A screenshot from the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain looked real enough to be used for real news This news report has since been updated but it feels more like a PR spin than truly admitting that they screwed up and used an image from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to shock people into believing their propaganda or at least listen to what they were saying. "News" outlet RT and show SophieCo were recently covering a story on children soldiers and were speaking to a former child soldier when the camera panned by and showed a scene from the next Kojima game. Like I said, it has since been updated to state that they knew it was from a video game but I have a feeling that is just to save face as something like this could ruin what the discussion was actually about. Just announced as part of the outside SDCC events is the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel laser tag arena hosted by Nerdist Not to be left out of the fun of SDCC in now Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel brought to us by Carl's Jr 2K Games and Nerdist. It looks as if they didn't want to miss out on the fun of having something like The Walking Dead Escape at the convention this year so they are bringing us a Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel themed Laser Tag arena for fans to go crazy Broadway style in. Gearbox and 2K Games have announced Battleborn the next-gen hero-shooter for the PS4, XB1, and PC I guess we can now understand why Gearbox has been pushing all the Borderlands spin-offs and that is to keep the money flowing in for their new IP Battleborn. As I stated this is not a title about how Nevada became part of the United States of America but a new FPS co-op title set in the distant future. Although it could be very easy to twist the whole story back into a game about Nevada but I have a good feeling that is nowhere close to what Battleborn is going to be all about. A narrated version of the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel E3 demo has been released for those who may have missed it Last week we had the short "Survival Tips" video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Now we have all the goodies that we actually were able to play on the floor at E3. I swear 2K is trying to keep the wonderment of E3 going as Evolve received all the limelight there and not their other titles. No matter the case though, they have taken it upon themselves to give us a little slice of the level and mission that they had to show. The 'under the dome' E3 exclusive video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been released online for those who didn't get a chance to see it If there is one other thing I learned at E3 this year it is that all of you Borderlands fans are pretty damn rabid to see anything for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Case in point will be the below video that fans stood in line upwards of two hours just to see under the safety of a moon dome that took up a third of the entire 2K booth. Early on the 19th of June, Konami and Hideo Kojima showed off the closed doors demo for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Good news for all of you who didn't want to take the time to read through my Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain impressions from E3. It looks like Konami and Kojima wanted to cater to all of you who don't have the time to read through some heartfelt words letting you know what I saw for the game. While At E3 I Got To See Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Here on the site we have had mixed reviews and wants for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Some are excited to play the new game. Others are questioning why 2K and Gearbox are even trying to milk us for more money. None the less I was personally able to put hands to the game during E3 and I was able to see if the new additions and locations will make Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel feel like the game that the developers are trying to make it be. While at E3 I got to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in a more intimate setting than just the trailer. Here's my take on it All of the teases and short shows of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain can all be put aside now as we were given a new and nice look at the game and features that have yet to be announced or shown in a public form. It also kind of puts the whole demo thing for Ground Zeroes to the side as with what was shown here at E3 was considerably more and with a demo you should get all of the game's mechanics and features. Those have only been followed by the news of how big and "hard to watch" the actual gameplay footage at E3 will actually be. Three new short videos based on Borderlands have been released in a series call Tales from the HQ. If you are eagerly waiting for Tales From The Borderlands to come out so you can expand on the stories of the world, let me offer you these three new shorts in a series call Tales From The HQ. Don't get them all mixed together though as while both the new game from Telltale and these are only connected in the way of Borderlands characters and environments. Tales From The HQ is a series of short films made by students at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA who happened to team up with 2K Games and Gearbox. 'Leaked' documents surrounding the three big E3 Press Events point to new games and demos not previously announced. It would seem that there is a new document showcasing the schedules for the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo conferences making the rounds online. The validity of this document is still to be determined but if it is true we could be seeing a new God Of War title as well as a demo for Halo 5.
