It's Time To Choose A Faction For The Mortal Kombat X Faction War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
How about a nice and quick breakdown of Mortal Kombat X's faction wars metagame that we will all be partaking in soon? Just when we all thought we were done with the Mortal Kombat X news and updates until sometime after April 14th, they pull us all back in. This time it is with another look at the Faction Wars that will be going on behind the scenes as well as in our faces once NetherRealm is able to get those servers online. The Faction War is the metagame that will be going on as everyone plays Mortal Kombat X online or offline by contributing "faction points" for finishing parts of the game or challenges set out by the studio. This has all been glossed over before in the past but not much in the way of seeing things has been available. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Is Set To Be Shown To The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of April 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is looking more likely as the next addition to the franchise and we'll know for sure real soon If you were hoping that all of the teases lately from Activision have been for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 then you are going to most likely be a happy camper. A new trailer has been released and it all but names the next Call Of Duty title as Black Ops 3. There have been a load of viral videos and a SnapChat thing going on but now we get a nice tease to lead us up to the April 26th world reveal of most likely Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. Although I'd find it hilarious if Treyarch and Activision announced something completely different on the given date if it doesn't get "leaked" early by some paid media types. Read More...

Time To Build Our Way Into New Worlds With LEGO Dimensions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of April 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
TT Games and Warner Bros. have announced LEGO Dimensions which is another title that mixes real toys with digital worlds Just in case you didn't have enough clutter around with Disney Infinity and Skylanders it looks like we are getting another toy-to-game mash-up with LEGO Dimensions. This would be the next new LEGO title coming from TT Games and Warner Bros.; at least if you forget about that LEGO Jurassic World title on its way as well. None the less we are getting LEGO Dimensions but the cool thing here is that the developers have taken a few great steps to separate this title from all of the other titles out there as you get to actually build the toys you will be sending into the game. Are We Getting Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Teases Now?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of April 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
With a recent Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 update it looks like a viral campaign for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 could be on the way A bit of new viral marketing out now may be pointing that Activision and Treyarch may be working on Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 for this year's release. This one has quite a bit of back story and digging around to get the ball rolling but there is definitely something brewing here. In fact this all started with the most recent update for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 where a YouTube streamer happened upon a few updated materials in the game that had a SnapChat QR code pasted over the original image. Using said QR code takes you to the befriending page for the Call Of Duty SnapChat account which is where some people thought it would end. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for Mortal Kombat X that was directed by one of System Of A Down has been released for the world It looks like the Mortal Kombat X mass push for updates will be coming to an end as we now have that Launch Trailer that was teased a little while back. This would be the one that has Chop Suey as the song and being directed by Shavo from System Of A Down. There was a sneak peak but it really didn't give us any insight as to what we may see in the Mortal Kombat X launch trailer. Well the wait is now over and now we just have to wait a week more to make heads and tails of everything that we are going to see here. Read More...

Goro Truly Lives On In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We had out first real look at the Goro DLC for Mortal Kombat X and it is all about the Punch Walk If you were not too busy over this Easter weekend then you would have been in for another Mortal Kombat X treat. The first gameplay for Goro was shown off during an Amazon All Access event. More than just Goro was shown off during the five hour stream with NetherRealm and Amazon via Twitch but let's face it; Goro is what everyone was excited to see as the rest of the characters that are to be shown off for Mortal Kombat X will be coming in the next week leading up to the April 14th launch. That is if you don't think that there will be more surprises after Mortal Kombat X launches. While we didn't get a good breakdown of all of Goro's moves and variations in Mortal Kombat X, we did at least get their descriptions as well as a shit ton of gameplay showing off how Goro could be completely overpowered in Mortal Kombat X. The first bit of actual game play for Mortal Kombat X Mobile and details have been recently shown off We still have a little more time before we can dig into Mortal Kombat X Mobile. As of right now there has yet to be a release date for the free mobile title that will link into Mortal Kombat X proper but it has been stated sometime shortly after the April 14th launch of that title. What we do have though is a bit more on Mortal Kombat X Mobile and what we can expect to be different from the Injustice tie-in mobile game and this one. Almost All Of The Mortal Kombat X Characters Have Been Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
In the latest Kombat Kast for Mortal Kombat X we were shown almost all of the characters and their variations The headline here may seem a bit odd as we do have our first full look at the Mortal Kombat X character select screen with no empty spots anymore. The roster has been fully shown here at least in the terms of core characters but as we all know, NetherRealm is working on DLC and hinted at other characters making a return to Mortal Kombat X as well. Would it be safe to assume that the DLC or other characters will show up as a second menu under Goro similar to Mortal Kombat 9? I mean they have to display them somehow right? Read More...

Grand Theft Auto V Has Never Looked This Good Before
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V on the PC running at 60fps has been released for our viewing pleasure Just when you thought you've seen the best for Grand Theft Auto V Rockstar brings you back in. This time we have a nice long look at how the game is going to look when running at the best settings on the PC version of the game. I though the PS4 and Xbox One editions of Grand Theft Auto V looked out of this world but I am starting to see why PC gaming is such a huge thing. If only it wasn't so expensive and had some of our favorite franchises available. Read More...

It's Time To Meet The Briggs Family In Mortal Kombat X
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Mortal Kombat X has been released and this one shows off Jackson and Jacqueline Briggs perfectly Either we have one crazy elaborate April Fool's joke for Mortal Kombat X or some European outlet released a new trailer for the game a little bit early. My bet is going on the latter here but you never know. What we do know is that the following trailer does officially show of Jax in action for Mortal Kombat X. Like I said, unless NetherRealm is running some huge joke here since we've already seen him in Kombat already then we can add one more to the already mind-bogglingly huge list of Kombatants for Mortal Kombat X. A new trailer for the second part of Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Exo Zombie mode has been released and it offers quite a punch and surprise The next major DLC for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare is just around the bend here and it looks like there is going to be a huge addition to the Exo Zombies mode that was part of the first pack. Other platforms will be in short order of course but hopefully you have that Season Pass for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare so no matter what you won't have to worry about the dates outside of when you are going to get to play all of the new DLC.
