by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
House Of Ashes The next chapter is revealed as The Dark Pictures: House Of Ashes in the anthology with House Of Ashes taking us in a different direction It has been about 24 hours since The Dark Pictures: Little Hope launches, which means that it is high time that we had a teaser for the next chapter in the series. It was stated that Supermassive Games has plans to do about eight entries into the anthology and it looks like the next will be House Of Ashes. This is one that has been rumored for a short while now, but given that the tradition has been to run a teaser for the next title at the end of the credits of the current game that means we have our first real look. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Chernobylite It has been announced that the final version of Chernobylite will be out in 2021 and we will see a full version of Chernobylite on the next-gen systems It looks like we have a few more platforms to find Chernobylite when it finally launches in its final form. It is currently out there on the PC via Steam in an Early access, but it looks like The Farm 51 was able to get some extra help to get the game published on more than that. We heard that Chernobylite was going to be on the PS4 and Xbox One when it does come in 2021, but now it looks like the aim is to get it fully on the PS5 and Xbox Series X too. Not via a basic upgrade but in a full version of the game. Read More...

Far Cry 6 Has Been Delayed A Bit From February Of 2021
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Far Cry The release date for Far Cry 6 has been pushed out to make sure that the team can make this the most ambitious Far Cry title to date I do hope you did not have your hope set up to get Far Cry 6 this coming February, as it looks like those hopes have been dashed. That is, it looks like Ubisoft has opted to push the game out further to allow the developers more time to work on the title. Given that Far Cry 6 is poised to be the next big and ambitious title into the franchise, they need to make sure it shines. If it did not, then we could see an IP be shot down just as fast as the enemies in the game. Read More...

The Ascent Is Bringing Us Some More Cyberpunk Fun In 2021
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Ascent The release window for The Ascent is now set in 2021 but we have a plethora of new gameplay for The Ascent to see now We will not be seeing The Ascent on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC this year, but that is okay as it does look like it will be worth the wait. I say this as we have some new gameplay here that Neon Giant has put together to show how they are vastly improving things from what we saw before. The Ascent looked amazing before now and here we go and see a whole lot more for the game and a few of the ways that this action-RPG has been evolved. Especially when you see that we will have some cutscenes in the game where it was assumed that it would not be the case before. Read More...

Hitman 3 Is Flowing Onto The Switch Too Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman It has been announced that Hitman 3 will now be coming to the Switch so that even more fans can experience the Hitman franchise Add another platform to the growing list for Hitman 3 as it will now be heading to the Switch. An interesting addition as it never felt like the system would be able to handle what the game could pump out before now. I am sure that is why IO Interactive is not just bringing it over to the system but giving us the option to play via cloud streaming on the Switch. So, technically Hitman 3 is not coming to the Switch but it will be playable on the system for those that are looking to get the murder on via the console. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk 2077 Yet another delay has hit Cyberpunk 2077 with Cyberpunk 2077 getting pushed out another 21 days to ensure the best game Talk about a video game that has had one of the rockiest releases as Cyberpunk 2077 has had here so far. At least in terms of setting so many release dates and then having to push them out, as we are getting another push here. November 19th is no longer the date as CD Projekt RED still did not feel like the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 was up to par and ready for us. Even after hitting its gold phase not that long ago. Read More...

Things like the 120 fps and other graphical updates are going to make this title feel like a next-gen title right out of the gate on November 10th. Immortals Fenyx Rising Walks Us Along The Story We Will Have
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Immortals Immortals Fenyx Rising has a lot of new gameplay and story on how we will be setting out to save those Immortals in the game Gods do we have a way to end the week here with a huge update for Immortals Fenyx Rising with so many angles to look at for it. This is not something I was fully expecting out of Ubisoft, but I know I am glad to see it as we have a whole lot of story to look at and then gameplay to show off how some of this story will be played out. I mean, that may not be everyone's jam as they will want to play Immortals as blind as possible but I am sure that is a small group out there. More so when you realize that there is a demo out there for the game on Stadia to get some of us up and running in the game. Read More...

Little Nightmares II Is Bringing Us Some Halloween Fun Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Little Nightmares A new look at Little Nightmares II is here to offer up some Halloween fun in the way only Little Nightmares could do Little Nightmares II feels like a game we should be experiencing over the Halloween weekend but sadly, we will not be seeing it until February 11th of next year. It feels like a hard pill to swallow, but it is something that I am sure will let Tarsier Studios give us a better game in the end. That said, we are not going to be completely left out of the fun for Little Nightmares II and the holiday this year as we have a new trailer to take in that highlights quite a bit of the horror-themed items in the game here. Here Is A Better Look At The Dual Reality Of The Medium
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Medium We have some new explanations on how The Medium's dual reality system will work and The Medium offers up something yet to be seen One of the big mechanics we have seen in past videos for The Medium has been the dual reality system that we will need to navigate. This is the one where the main character will be both in the physical and spiritual world with all of the issues that may cause. It looks like it can be an ever-present thing in there from Bloober Team with about two-thirds of the game existing in one of them for most of the game. That is why we have one more explanation video for The Medium that gives us another look at the game and just how it will work when December 10th rolls up and we can play the game on the Xbox Series X and PC. Have A Deeper Look At Everything That Brought Us To Aragami 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Aragami The first developer diary for Aragami 2 is here with a hard lean into how the studio first made Aragami and then the franchise It can be fun to learn about where many of our favorite video games or their franchises started with given the longevity of some or, in the case of Aragami, the recent budding of one. That is what we have here today from Lince Works as we get a nice little history lesson on how the original game came to be and how they took their lessons to try to make something new to carry things on. New in the terms of Aragami 2 and thus a franchise that they might be carrying on with. Read More...

Scorn Offers Up Some Bloody Dark Gameplay To Haunt Us With
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Scorn New gameplay for Scorn is here with a long fourteen-minute look at how Scorn will have us managing so much It has been a good minute since we last had anything major out there for Scorn and now feels like the perfect time for that. It is a horror title and given the proximity to Halloween here it seems like the perfect time for Ebb Software to remind us of the game. Well, that and to give us some new footage to look at for Scorn so we can keep mentally ready for it to hit the PC and Xbox Series X next year. That is why we are here again, as we have fourteen minutes of gameplay to take in and be horrified with some of the body horror and creepiness that the game will offer up when we all dive right into it.
