by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of August 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
KARMA A new look at KARMA: The Dark World is out there to get us ready for the October release for KARMA: The Dark World It feels like it has been a long time since we heard about KARMA: The Dark World coming out there. It looks like Pollard Studio, though, has been putting in a whole lot of work during all of that time and has Wired Productions ready to drop KARMA: The Dark World out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this October. When in October? Read More...

The Casting Of Frank Stone Offers Up The Cast Of Game For Sacrifice
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Frank Stone Let us go behind the scenes again for The Casting Of Frank Stone to see the motion & voice cast bringing Frank Stone to life It is time to go behind the veil one more time with a look at The Casting Of Frank Stone and the cast of characters taking us through the story. This is usually one of the bigger highlights for any of the Supermassive Games projects out there, and it looks as if this one is not going to be any different. Not because they are pulling in massive names to help sell the game but focusing on letting the cast truly vibe on set to add more of that authenticity to the characters. That is, at least, based on the latest behind-the-scenes video we have for The Casting Of Frank Stone to get us ready for the September 3rd release date on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Swing The Pendulum & Figure Out What Is Real In The Occultist
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of August 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Occultist Take on a new supernatural world with The Occultist as we get to see just what this occultist might be able to do out there Well, it looks like the horror of the world will still carry on into 2025, not a huge surprise, but at least we will have The Occultist to help with all of that. No, I am not talking about the specific Hellscape that we find ourselves in right now, but the world that DALOAR and Daedalic Entertainment are building for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for 2025. Even if it would be a nice change of pace to see this kind of survival horror out there in the world instead of the one we have now. I am getting off-topic, though, so let us dig further into The Occultist and just what this new announcement is going to offer us all when the game does launch out there. Read More...

Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic Is Bringing Us Some New Nightmares
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of August 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Five Nights At Freddy’s A new Five Nights At Freddy’s games is on the way with Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic getting announced As if the IP did not already have a whole slew of things out there or announced already, here we go with a teaser for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Secret Of The Mimic. Yes, it looks like Steel Wool Studios is not only leaning into the ten-year anniversary for the IP but also stepping on the release of another big game that is coming out later this week on August 8th. Maybe not stepping on, as the fans of Five Nights At Freddy’s will devour everything, but it feels odd to have a big title release along with a teaser for a new title that we will not see until 2025. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead Will Have Us All Hushed For Its Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of August 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
A Quiet Place The release date for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is set with some fun little extras ready to add into A Quiet Place While it might have missed the synergy to launch when the latest film dropped, it looks as if we finally have a release date for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. It is its own game and story that Stormind Games is working on, so it makes a bit of sense to drop it on its own, but synergy can be a great thing. Nonetheless, Saber Interactive has pulled the trigger to let us all know when this next addition to the universe of A Quiet Place will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|s, and PC. That date is now set as October 17th of this year. Read More...

TV Review — Star Wars: The Acolyte [Some Spoilers]
by Raymond Bruels [ Thursday, 18th of July 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Acolyte Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Power of Many… Missed Opportunities. Here are my thoughts on The Acolyte (Warning – spoilers!) So, the last episode dropped and after eight weeks of slogging through Star Wars: The Acolyte, I figured it is time to share my thoughts on the show. Overall while I did not care for the series, there were aspects of this show I did appreciate. There has been a lot of online hate leveled at the show, its cast, its writers, and its showrunner Leslye Headland. Some of the complaints I agree with, while others I think are nitpicking and prompted by statements that Headland and Stenberg have made. Read More...
