Review — Skylanders SuperChargers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of October 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Skylanders We Sit Down And Review Skylanders SuperChargers. Does the addition of vehicles drive the franchise forward or just add more toys to the ever-growing shelf? Here's Our Review of Skylanders SuperChargers It's been another year and that means that it is time for more toys-to-life video games with the addition of Skylanders SuperChargers to the ever-growing franchise. Skylanders are back from Vicarious Visions and this time they have brought vehicles to mix things up and try to stop the evil lord Kaos in his tracks. Kaos and all of the other evil beings that seem to be under his employ or just trying to run amuck in the world of Skylands. Read More...

Try And Survive Until Dawn With Only Your Ears
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. Especially since it looks like Until Dawn will have some kind of clout during October with the PS4 game proper and a new little experience. Read More...

Until Dawn Gets Another Trailer To Drive Home The Butterfly Effect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Until Dawn has been released to show more teenage death, horror, and the butterfly effect we'll play with in Until Dawn As if yesterday's installment of teenage death and terror from Until Dawn wasn't enough we have yet another trailer for the game. Only this time it is a gameplay trailer for Until Dawn and not a live action one. It also happens to touch upon the butterfly effect again as this is something that Supermassive Games has been pushing since Until Dawn was changed over to a PS4 title. At least to my memory. Listen To The Golden Horror Of Until Dawn's Soundtrack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn has officially gone gold and to celebrate we get to hear a bunch of the score used to make Until Dawn the horror fest we've been dying for You know it's been a good week when you can bookend it with great horror news like we have with Until Dawn here. We still have just under a month to wait, August 25th, before we get to experience Supermassive Games' latest title on the PS4 and from what I've seen and heard so far we shouldn't be let down. It looks like most of it is going to be solid and Until Dawn has finally hit gold status in the development cycle so now the waiting game takes place. I wish I had some other amazing horror title to play in the interim but for now we'll just have to go with the Until Dawn gameplay footage that is all of the net for now. Read More...

Get Siked As There Is Even More Until Dawn Gameplay To Look At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Until Dawn has been released from a preview build of the game and it is full of all the jump scares you could want in Until Dawn At the rate that we are getting new videos for Until Dawn we may not have much of a game left to play when it hits the PS4 on August 25th. At least that is how I am taking it from all of the stuff I've seen. That means I am also hoping that Supermassive Games has kept all the really juicy and bloody bits of this horror game under wraps until we are able to push past that date. Hopefully it makes sense but then again there are a lot of films and shows spoiled by all of the promo videos and teasers today thanks to the internet and cyber-sleuths out there. Read More...

Two More Possible Characters For Drawn To Death Shown Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Two more characters for Drawn To Death and their design process have been shown off and the design team wants to know your opinion It's only been about a month since we had our fist look at a new character for Drawn To Death so it seems about right for us to get another. How about two more? Well that is what we have eyes on here as the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency has released the high concepts for two more possible character for Drawn To Death. One tentatively named King Tut who employs ancient Egyptian style weapons and the other being tentatively named Sci-Fi Ninja. That character's abilities and weapons in Drawn To Death should be kind of self explanetory for the most layperson out there. Read More...

More Until Dawn Screenshots To Tide Our Teenage Bloodlust
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A few more screenshots for Until Dawn have been released for all of the news outlets not lucky enough to play the alpha build of Until Dawn It looks like preview builds for Until Dawn have been making the rounds to all of the outlets that sell their services so they can help promote a game that isn't getting much backing from the publisher as it would seem. This of course means that the rest of us get some nice new screenshots for Until Dawn fresh from what Supermassive Games wants to share with us so as not to spoil anything. That would be a great letdown for Until Dawn if we spoiled all of the great PS4 horror fun before it launched on August 25th wouldn't it? Read More...

Skylanders SuperChargers Is Going Dark For Another Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of July 2015 - 04:59 PM ]
A new Dark Edition has been announced for Skylanders Superchargers and it allows for more Kaos gameplay in the franchise In the last edition of Skylanders we had a cool Dark Edition as we had villains in tow and it looks like Skylanders SuperChargers is also going to be doing the same thing. As if adding in vehicles wasn't enough for Vicarious Visions it looks like they wanted to make sure we all had the option to play the "evil" versions when we finally get the game on September 20th. Before you get worried about it Skylanders Superchargers' Dark Edition will be available in starter pack form for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U versions of the game. No need to worry outside of being able to find the edition for sale anywhere. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Drawn To Death In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It There were games at E3 I had to see and then there where games like Drawn To Death that I HAD to see on the show floor. The prior meaning a work required viewing and the later a personal need and the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency and Sony San Diego were able to comply in both a booth format as well as a fan experience while out there at E3. No better way than to show off how far Drawn To Death has progressed since PSX and get us all excited for this PS4 exclusive to launch sometime in the near future. At least hopefully near future as after playing Drawn To Death again I want to have it at my beckon call at all times. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Until Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Until Dawn In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Not too long ago we were treated to the news that Until Dawn would be launching the on the PS4 on August 25th. Not too long from now even though it misses the mark of the best month for horror titles. None the less it is and Supermassive Games was on the scene at E3 to show off more for Until Dawn and it wasn't just a new character actor or short clip. In fact it was a whole new section for Until Dawn that takes place around chapter six of the game. Read More...

E3 2015 Impressions — Skylanders SuperChargers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Skylanders SuperChargers In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the guilty pleasures that I have had over the years have been seeing the next Skylanders title in action at E3 and this year was no slouch as Skylanders SuperChargers was on the scene and showing off all of the new hardware and story coming to the franchise. This would be the latest from Vicarious Visions that is bringing vehicles to the mix of Skylands and to bring down the Evil Lord Kaos and all of his Doom-machines. If you knew the franchise that explanation of Skylanders SuperChargers would make perfect sense but none the less we have new, or newish, characters and their vehicles that also brings new gameplay and we were on the scene to see what we can expect to be new to the franchise with Skylanders SuperChargers when it launches on September 20th on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, and 3DS. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
During one of the E3 kickoff video streams from Sony San Diego Studios we had a nice look at Drawn To Death as well as a new character and level for Drawn To Death Last week we got our first really good look at one of the characters for Drawn To Death as we lead into all of the big news for E3. Last night (6/11) though during the Sony San Diego Studios stream of Drawn To Death, the team from Bartlet Jones showed off the build we are all going to get to play out there but also a new character and a new level for the game. Not only that but a few more details that have yet to be completely nailed down for Drawn To Death since its first showing during the PlayStation Experience. Let's Get To Know Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first major character bio for Drawn To Death has been released out to the world and it details Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage with moves and a bit of backstory Up until now we have had a very basic story and character breakdown for Drawn To Death. Bartlet Jones has given us some between last year's PSX show and now but nothing too substantial. I'm guessing this is partly because they were still working on all of the kinks and partly because they wanted to have something amazingly over the top to show off at E3. This is the company's first big title and as it is an exclusive on PS4 Drawn To Death has a lot to deliver for us all. Read More...

Skylanders SuperChargers Will Let Us Drive Evil Crazy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new Skylanders title is coming with full speed in the way of Skylanders SuperChargers which also adds vehicles to the mix of the game By this point I know I have been questioning where the Skylanders franchise might and can go. It started the toys-to-life genre of video games and others have tried to follow suit. It looks like Vicarious Visions and Activision are again pushing things forward a little bit with Skylanders SuperChargers. This would be the most recent title just announced which now adds vehicles to the video game world as well as to all of the 300+ Skylanders toys already available. Read More...
