Star Wars The next big Star Wars title is on its way to us soon with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor getting an early 2023 release date The Game Awards last night did not disappoint, as now we have the official release date for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to mark on our calendars. Not only do we have the date on when the game is going to launch, but Respawn Entertainment also put together a nice bit of gameplay to show us why we need to join Cal Kestis on another journey out there. A journey that will be landing on March 17th of 2023, as that is the official date that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is still fairly early in the year to have all of these little goodies in our hands. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of May 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Wars The official announcement for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is here to continue the story for the Star Wars Jedi line going It was not a huge secret that we were going to see a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It was one of the worst kept secrets that EA has had as of late when it comes to the IP and what Respawn Entertainment has been working on. We may need to wait until 2023 to see it hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC but we have the official news that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is coming and we have a little bit to look at to get the hype flowing. If all of the films, toys, and TV shows have not already been doing that here already. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of May 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week I do not know about you, but I am glad to see this week finally come to an end and we can finally dive right into all of the video games we have out there once again. It was a bit of a rough one around here, but at least we have titles like Evil Dead: The Game and Sifu to bring the spirits back up for us all. Maybe I do need to take one of those LARP retreats and check out Black Shield Productions as others on the team had a chance to do. Read More...

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Is Having Another Character Rush
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of May 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Star Wars More of your favorite Star Wars characters are rushing into the fun of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga It is definitely fitting for the day here, as we have a whole lot of new characters joining in the fray for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. A whole lot more characters with the new DLC packs that TT Games has ready for us that will include new characters from so many other stories outside of the core Skywalker Saga. Not that we did not have over 300 characters from the Star Wars IP already, but these new batches will give us more of the recent and truly older characters to opt into while playing too. Even if it does not look like many new options of gameplay will be added in for them. Read More...

The Dark Side Is Rising Up For LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of March 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Star Wars More of the Star Wars saga is being fleshed out there with the dark side in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Some could say that the Dark Side users in the Star Wars IP has been at the forefront of the entire saga so far. Some could while others will lean into the Light side a bit more and give us all a bit of hope. With TT Games and what we will be seeing on April 5th here, it looks like they are adding some lightness into their Dark Side when it comes to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It does retell the full run of the core films with the LEGO humor, and now we have a bit of a showing of how that will bleed into the more villainous of characters out in this universe. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 2/21/22 — 2/25/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 26th of February 2022 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is now over and we can finally put it all to rest here and enjoy some video games. Given the state of the world out there and all of the insanity going on, it is something that can be needed if it is possible for you. If the PSVR 2 was out there already it would be a nice escape from it all but we will just have to focus on Elden Ring and the demo for Babylon’s Fall to keep us all going. Then we can all hope to make it to the point where we can see other video games like Street Fighter 6 get the release and fun back into the world beyond all of the horrors out there. Read More...

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic Remake Is Happening & Coming To The PS5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of September 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Star Wars Another classic Star Wars title, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic, is getting a remake and will be exclusively coming to the PS5 for consoles The headline here says most of it, we are getting a Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic Remake to add into our list of titles for the PS5 and PC. An interesting call given the twenty-year past of the IP, but it is the deal that is going down between Aspyr Media and all of the other powers that be for it. Given the close deals that Sony has with those currently behind the Star Wars IP, it is not a shock, but it will only be a PS5 exclusive for the console side of it all and only at launch.
