Things Warm Up A Bit In Kholat's Environments
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Another trailer for Kholat has been released by IMGN.PRO that shows off even more of the environments in Kholat Recently we had a bit of Kholat's environment shown off and it was nothing but an awesome deep freeze with an empty world. IMGN.PRO has yet another look at the game's empty world with another, yet longer, look at the game's environments. As was with the last video we are definitely getting that lonely vibe that looks to be present through Kholat's psychological horror gameplay I know I am still waiting to see. Seems odd that all we have had has been environment looks since Kholat launches on PC on June 10th but I guess beggars can't be chooses here. Read More...

Enter The Deep Freeze In Kholat's Latest Gameplay Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new environment for psychological horror title, Kholat, has been released to show us a bit more of the isolation to expect It's been some time since we last saw anything for Kholat and it looks like we may need to wait a bit more. That's not to say that the most recent trailer that IMGN.PRO has given us, it can be seen below, hasn't shown off some amazing new area in the game, it just doesn't given any more clue as to what is going on outside of the exploration in the game. Kholat is a storytelling based game and I am still at a loss as to what the story is even slightly. At least it will have some nice looking scenery and that feeling of isolation down pat when it launches on Steam and our PCs on June 10th. Read More...

Follow The Path To Understand What Kholat Is All About
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Kholat is a new FPP storytelling title announced from IMGN.PRO studios and we have the first trailer for the game I'm not even going to try and pronounce Kholat but that doesn't mean that the new title doesn't look at all too shabby. It looks like it could be something that we all write home to mom about as we wouldn't want to try and butcher the name with a call. Hopefully the Polish developer IMGN.PRO will expand upon that as we move forward with their Q1 2015 PC release title. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Homefront: The Revolution In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Yet another title announced just shy of the official E3 startup was Homefront: The Revolution. One of the IPs that was picked up from THQ during their fire-sale following the shutdown of the company. This time being helmed by Crytek using that oh-so-beautiful engine of theirs and published by Deep Silver. I was lucky enough to sit through a demo, no hands on here, for Homefront: The Revolution so sit back and enjoy the breakdown I have on what I think about what I saw. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
While at E3 I got to see HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age in a more intimate setting than just the trailer. Here's my take on it Talk about a hidden gem with HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age coming from Crytek. We had an official announcement just a few weeks ago but it didn't do much to impress me as an original IP but more the blending of two other IPs coming soon. I could not have been more mistaken after seeing what they had to show on the floor at E3 for HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age. It does have similarities to games like The Order: 1886 and Evolve but it really shines as its own idea. Read More...

Crytek Announces A New IP — HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Crytek USA Corp. has announced their debut title HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age coming to PC and consoles It is really shaping up to be very few new IPs announced at E3 as HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age joins the list and this time it is from Crytek. They are both developing and publishing this title as well. The idea behind HUNT: Horrors Of The Gilded Age is that you and your merry band of hunters in the 1800's are out to keep the world free of all of the myths and folklore hiding in the world. You know all the things that 'normies' don't see or want to see. Read More...

It's Time To Rise Up As Homefront: The Revolution Has Been Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
In the wake of 'leaks' before E3, Homefront: The Revolution gets an announcement trailer to show off the new Crytek title Looks like one of the secret titles that Deep Silver was holding off to show at E3 has been fully announced and it is Homefront: The Revolution. It's the next installment into the franchise coming from Crytek using their beast of a game engine, the CryEngine. Knowing that we can rest assured that it is going to look absolutely spectacular if you have the system to run it. How about I let you take a look at all of that before I move on to tell you what Deep Silver has told us about Homefront: The Revolution? Read More...

Check Out Some Intense Combat In Ryse Son Of Rome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of November 2013 - 11:29 PM ]
A New Trailer For Ryse Son Of Rome Shows Off How Crazy And Intense The Combat System Is Going To Be Last time I took a look at Ryse Son Of Rome I made a bunch of comparisons to GoW in the terms of looks and story. It is such an easy jump between the two. Now we are getting a new look at the combat and gameplay of the game and comparisons be damned, Ryse Son Of Rome's combat is now a huge selling point for me. If you are still on the fence take a look below and see what I am talking about. If you are curious before watching the trailer it looks like the combat for Ryse Son Of Rome has taken some of the better parts of the Arkham games mixed with the brutality of GoW. Read More...

Story Time: Ryse: Son of Rome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of October 2013 - 05:27 PM ]
Ryse: Son of Rome is one of the upcoming launch titles for the Xbox One. Now that we are a month out from the launch of both the console and game let's take a look at the overall story of the game. Luckily for us it seems that Crytek was gracious enough to give us a nice little story trailer so we can get to know Damocles. Grab yourself a boar's leg, a glass of vino, and a comfortable seat to hear the tale of this great fallen warrior. So there is the basic overall story of Ryse: Son of Rome's Damocles. Read More...

Nanosuit 2 For Sale
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of August 2009 - 10:34 PM ]
Crysis 2 Teasers Ok, well it isn't really for sale. At least not in the real world. But from watching the below video clips you could think otherwise. Well kind of. Well maybe if you were a little bit special, and not the kind that mom use to say you were. But I digress. Crytek and EA are starting with the viral-ish type promotions a bit early here. They utilize a well-worn concept  used back when the first Resident Evil film was starting to be pimped out. A nice little video or two showcasing something that looks like a real product just to entice fans and anyone really interested in the game. Read More...
