The Witcher The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting its next-gen update and will be adding some interesting things to The Witcher series After a long wait, with a little more still to go, we are getting the full next-gen update out there for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. An update that will bring the game up to date on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, while giving those on PC a few more bells and whistles to enjoy in the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of November 2022 - 08:00 PM ]
Callisto Protocol The launch of The Callisto Protocol is almost here and we have a whole new video to look at for The Callisto Protocol It is insane to think that we are almost here with The Callisto Protocol hitting your PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In just over a week, on December 2nd, many of us will get to experience a new level of horror in video games from Striking Distance Studios. That is, unless, all of the hype building up to The Callisto Protocol was only that. I do not think that it is but you can never know in today's market of advertising. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 19th of November 2022 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We had another short week of video games on our end, and that is on us and not that there was not much to talk about this week. It happens and we are going to see it happen next week with the American holiday kicking in and slowing things down. That is why we should be thankful that we had what we did for The Callisto Protocol, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII - Reunion as we did this week. All video games that will be launching out there shortly after the following week at that. Read More...

Things Are Getting Fast & Fur-ious Here For Gori: Cuddly Carnage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of November 2022 - 10:00 PM ]
Gori Gori is taking to the streets a bit more with a hoverboard here in the upcoming Gori: Cuddly Carnage We are taking to the streets once more with Gori and this time to see just how some of the transportation and traversal in the game is going to function. Not that Angry Demon Studio could not have just succeeded by letting us run around with an anthropomorphized cat and called it a day, but we are getting a fun little hoverboard for the feline to use out there. Not just in a way to get around too. This little device is going to end up being so much more when Gori: Cuddly Carnage finally launches out there for us all to enjoy. Read More...

Forspoken Will Give Us Many More Reasons To Explore The World Of Athia
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of November 2022 - 10:00 PM ]
Forspoken The next deep dive into Forspoken is here with getting all the reasons we will need to explore the world of Forspoken We have had the magic and we have had the traversal, and now we are back with a look at what we are going to be exploring out there in Forspoken. Not that we did not already know it was going to be the world of Athia that Luminous Productions has put together, but there is much more to that. Forspoken would be a rather bland game if there was not more to look at and do in the game's world. Now we are finally getting a better look at all of it beyond running around, hunting down enemies, and trying to get Frey home from the weirdness that has fallen upon them. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/7/22 — 11/11/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of November 2022 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week For most of you out there this is going to feel like a shorter week here for all the coverage of the various video games. You would be right, as we have to cut it a little short here for various reasons, but that does not mean we did not have some massive titles out there. Some with the likes of The Callisto Protocol, God Of War: Ragnarök, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns charting the top lists. That is not discount video games like Evil West either, but we had a massive blast and now we have to cut the week short on our end. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of November 2022 - 08:00 PM ]
Callisto Protocol Have a little more for The Callisto Protocol as we see how horror aspects are going to kick things up for The Callisto Protocol From everything we have seen before now for The Callisto Protocol, we can make the easy leap that this is going to scare the hells out of everyone when the game lands on December 2nd. For those that are still curious about if it is just a massive marketing thing to sell more games, you can sit back and see how Striking Distance Studios is going about creating the game a bit more. A bit more of the gameplay but also how the team is taking things that have been used in multiple other horror mediums and bringing them right into The Callisto Protocol to step things up. Forspoken The next deep dive into Forspoken is here to go into the Magic Combat we will have when Forspoken launches We have had a little look at the magic that will be coming to Forspoken with the previous deep dive into the game and the parkour. It gave us a basic look at how we would be mixing the world's magic into the movement in a very standard way. It Is Time For Some Hardcore Magic Parkour For Forspoken
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Forspoken Dive deeper into the parkour system coming in Forspoken that will have us blending magic and free-running in the world When we get whisked away to a far-off land out there and granted magical powers, the first thing we try to do is beef up our Parkour skills in the mix. Maybe that is just our protagonist we have here for Forspoken and the way we glide on into the latest update that we have for the game as Luminous Productions puts on the final touches before January 24th of 2023. That is when Forspoken is still slated to hit the PS5 and PC, so we best get to know how we are going to be putting all of these new-found powers to use in the game. This time with a little bit of magical parkour. Read More...

Welcome To Our Spiritual Nightmare With The Chant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
The Chant It is time to breakdown the gameplay for The Chant so we can be fully ready to experience the horrors that The Chant will hold It feels like the more we get for The Chant, the more it feels like the game is becoming something I did not expect it to be. Maybe because that is due to the fact that Brass Token offered up a look at the story of the game before the actual gameplay. At least, before now, as we have a whole lot more to see and get us ready for the November 3rd release of The Chant on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. All of which shapes the game in a whole new light in a way that feels closer to what I am sure we have all been excited to get. Read More...

Learn The Truth Of Black Iron Prison Within The Callisto Protocol
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of October 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Callisto Protocol The story for The Callisto Protocol expands a bit more with a new story trailer that we have for The Callisto Protocol I never thought I would have to say it, but it looks like the story for The Callisto Protocol is going to be going a bit darker than we thought before. How dark is still to be determined, but with the latest showing from Striking Distance Studios and Krafton for the game, it is going to be not for the faint of heart. Especially when we see what is going on in the Black Iron Prison within The Callisto Protocol and how some of the monstrosities came to be. We will certainly know more on December 2nd when the game lands, but this new trailer gives us all some solid hints so we can be ready to see if we will be able to make it through. Read More...
