by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Dreadmoor The open playtest for Dreadmoor is finally here, and we only have a short window to play the latest version of Dreadmoor After sitting and waiting as long as we have, we can all give Dreadmoor a bit of a play out there on the PC starting today. Not that the game has fully launched out there, it seems that Dream Dock still has more to do for this game, but the open playtest has begun, so we can have a sample of what the game will hold. As if we need more than a dark fishing adventure with all manner of Lovecraftian monsters trying to end our lives to give us a reason to drop anchor on this one. Or is it pull up the anchor? by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 13th of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Crimson Stag Wander deep into the folklore of the Crimson Stag, with a new title on the way called the Curse Of The Crimson Stag While the Nacon Connect showcase leaned into a few other fun horror-themed things, some of us might have missed another on the way with the announcement of Curse Of The Crimson Stag. A new narrative adventure that One-O-One Games is working on with Daedalic Entertainment to bring it all to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A new title that is also leaning more into the folk-horror genre as a thing for us all to have more nightmares about. Read More...

Control Resonant Walks Us A Bit Further Into A Paranaturally Warped Manhattan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Control Head further behind the scenes for Control Resonant to see how different the world will be from the one of Control There has been a whole lot of focus, as of late, on the location that we are going to be flying around in when Control Resonant lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In fairness, Remedy has been fairly forthcoming about the fact that we are hitting the streets and getting to take on all of the creatures and factions in Manhattan. Not the most ideal place for us to be able to save the world, but it falls in line with what Control has given us up to now. This is why it is fun to have another look behind the scenes for the game to see just how the team is warping it into the game world, as well as show us all the various things we are going to need to fend off along the way. Now, the launch of this DLC is here, and we get to see how it is all going to play out. Even if we have an Atomic Heart 2 to look forward to in the future. Read More...

Take Some Calculated Risks As We All Try To Enter The Void
by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 6th of April 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
The Void A new horror FPS, The Void, is on the way to us with The Void aiming to bring us some of that classic gaming again More of those demons are flowing into the world and escaping The Void. Well, it's more like we might be heading into the darkness instead, or something along those lines, with the latest title that The Horsemen Four is working on and just announced for the PC. Another title that is a throwback to the 90s with the FPC gameplay, but offering up some truly horrifying visuals for us to take in. Especially as The Void is leaning into the gameplay loop of shooting, surviving, and picking up what little resources are dropped back out there from a church. Read More...

Fly Through How The Gameplay Has Evolved For The Coming Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of April 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Control Go behind the scenes to see how the gameplay of Control has evolved a bit more to where Control Resonant is going to take us The next developer diary for Control Resonant is here, and it aims to show us how the game has evolved what worked in the previous game and for the IP in general. A nice little look at how things have shifted at Remedy for it all, while making sure that it just does not feel like we are going to be playing the same game, just with a different character. I mean, for starters, this one is taking us outside of the Oldest House and into the real world, going with a melee combat option over the firearms of Control, along with taking the bigger and mysterious threat from the first game and making it the main antagonist. Those are the basics, and now we get to see how that came to be and how the team is going to handle the challenges that are going to be imposed on the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of March 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Occultist Watch the final developer diary for The Occultist, and see just how open-ended the story might end up being in The Occultist We have had our fun looking at The Occultist up to now with the many behind-the-scenes looks at the game, but all things need to come to an end. So, here we go with the final video that DALOAR has to share before the game launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming April 8th. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of March 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Occultist Go behind the scenes again in The Occultist, as we get to hear how the terror of the world of The Occultist is coming to life It is time to go behind the scenes yet again with The Occultist, as we get more of the audio to listen to when it comes to the game. All of that is still slated for April 8th, if you had any worries that the game might have been delayed after the last update we had on the site. It’s Time To Go Commando With The Launch For John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando
by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 12th of March 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Toxic Commando Team up with your Co-Op buddies in John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando as the world of Toxic Commando has now launched We've had plenty of time to figure out our squad to take in, and today we can do that with the launch of John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It's good we had the time to figure all of that out, as it seems that the Co-Op that Saber Interactive has for us in the game could leave us open to being hurt. Not by anything in the game, but the other players of Toxic Commando might not be that helpful for you. Read More...

Head Out Beyond The Oldest House With The Latest For Control Resonant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Control See how Control Resonant is taking us all a bit further than the original Control allowed us all to go before We have been inside The Oldest House quite a bit before, and Control Resonant aims to take us all outside of that setting. This is all something many would know just from playing the first game, and from what Remedy has shown off during all of the videos we have had since the game was first revealed. Not to mention, we will be playing as the brother and captive character we saw in Control, so it does make sense that they are going out of their way to give us a new setting for the game. As long as it holds up, I think many of us will enjoy it all on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...
