by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of November 2022 - 10:00 PM ]
God Of War We get a better look at the accessibility options for God Of War: Ragnarök that will make it the most accessible God Of War yet We are on the precipice for the launch of God Of War: Ragnarök with it hitting the PS4 and PS5 tomorrow November 9th. Many of us have been gearing up for this release and need whatever we can get to keep us going until then. Good thing that Santa Monica Studio is here one more time to give us a behind-the-scenes look at the game and how it was made. The bigger thing here, though, is that we also get to see many of the new accessibility options that are going to be in the mix for God Of War: Ragnarök right from day one of the game. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 10/31/22 — 11/4/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of November 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when you might have thought we were going to take a detour from the horror video games out there with the month ending, it looks like we all go to dig in a little more. Not a terrible way to spend the week in my eyes and it did give us a whole lot more for Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Fatal Frame: Mask Of The Lunar Eclipse. Not to mention that we have even more to look at for God Of War: Ragnarök just before its full release next week. Read More...

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game Compares Itself To The Original Film
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of November 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Killer Klowns Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is still in the works but shows off how close it is getting to the original Killer Klowns film It feels like not as many out there are as excited for Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game as there should be out there. It may not have been the biggest of IPs out there for Teravision Games and Good Shepherd Entertainment to take on, but it is a cult classic that helped to shape some out there for the horror tastes. I know it shaped mine after seeing the original Killer Klowns From Outer Space back in the day. This, obviously, means that those like me will be keeping a close eye on the game to see how close it is to the original when running around on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Even if it will feel a little off to be playing the new title on November 9th instead of the Tuesday or Friday it normally would have dropped on. All of that aside, though, we can look forward to not only the game but a new look at things behind the scenes from Santa Monica Studio here. This time in how the characters and creatures were crafted for God Of War: Ragnarök with a heavy push on the dwarves of Svartalfheim too. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we all assumed, this was the week that so many horror video games would be getting massive updates. It is the way of the Halloween time that we are all in right now. Just before they shift away from the likes of Midnight Suns and Evil Dead: The Game. I mean, we now have the new remake of The Witcher to look at down the line too. Read More...

God Of War Step further behind-the-scenes with God Of War: Ragnarök and see how combat and enemies have changed since God Of War November 9th does not seem like it is going to be getting here fast enough with each new look we have for God Of War: Ragnarök. Even with Santa Monica Studio doing all that they can to keep the leaks and spoilers at bay from various others out there. None of that will be featured on the site here. Instead, we will dig into the latest behind-the-scenes footage we have for God Of War: Ragnarök to get us all amped up for the game in a few weeks and to see how it is going to evolve things even further on the PS4 and PS5. This Week In Video Games 10/17/22 — 10/21/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of October 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we all should have assumed for this time of year and week, most of the video games we had updates for here were horror-based. Some we knew were coming and others that were poorly-kept rumors out there. I am looking at you Silent Hill. Even if that was a huge shock to see things were going to be more than just a remaster of decades-old titles. Read More...

Learn Just A Bit More As To What Will Let Us Be One Of The Gotham Knights
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of October 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Gotham Knights A new breakdown video for Gotham Knights has been released that takes us a little deeper into the gameplay of Gotham Knights We are on the verge of getting to actually experience Gotham Knights on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC but some out there might still need a little bit of a lesson to know what is up with the game. Beyond it being an action game that is furthering the story of Gotham after WB Games Montréal has killed him off. One would think that if you were going to be in on Gotham Knights, you would have already thrown down on it with just that little blurb. Read More...

God Of War: Ragnarök Shapes More Of The Story We Are Going To Love
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War The story of God Of War: Ragnarök has taken a bit of shaping since the previous God Of War title we have had It is time, once more, to go behind the scenes and see how some of our games are made and shaped out there, with God Of War: Ragnarök being the next on the list. There have been a few bits like this out there from Santa Monica Studio already, but this is a deeper dive into the story with various other aspects yet to come. All so we can have a better appreciation for God Of War and then see the hardships that they had to go through to get this latest one ready for the November 9th launch on the PS4 and PS5. A journey that all started out with some true hardships as far back as 2020, if we all want to try to remember those times… As it has been alluded to thus far for God Of War: Ragnarök, this first part in the ongoing series does focus on the story and how it has been evolving out there. This Week In Video Games 10/10/22 — 10/14/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of October 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to stick a fork in this week as it is done and we had so many video games to talk about this week. Some on the side of titles launching soon as God Of War: Ragnarök and Gotham Knights and others are a still bit of a way off, as the Dead Space Remake is currently. Not to mention a whole lot more for video games like Marvel’s Midnight Suns that will be out before the end of the year and just in time for the gift-giving season. If that is something you plan on taking part in too. Read More...

God Of War: Ragnarök Will Offer Us All Up Some New Immersion For The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of October 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
God Of War The PS5 version of God Of War: Ragnarök will have a few more options to get us further into the God Of War setting For those that have a PS5, it should come as no surprise that this is going to be the system that will show off God Of War: Ragnarök in the best way. I am sure that the PS4 version will still be excellent, but Santa Monica Studio is given much more to work with on the new system and you can see that up to now already. Both in the trailers and gameplay we have had for Ragnarök and the full update they put out there for God Of War in the past. Now, though, we can see a bit more out there to see how this version will take us even deeper into the game when it drops on November 9th. Read More...

See The Future Of Gotham With The Latest For Gotham Knights
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of October 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
Gotham Knights Another launch trailer for Gotham Knights is here to give us a new cinematic look at the story for the Gotham Knights I had a feeling we were going to see more of Gotham Knights before the October 21st release after we had the launch trailer. Now we are here with another launch trailer from WB Games Montréal that gives us a feel for how the characters feel about themselves and the pep-talk they needed to get back out there. Not something that we would expect would be needed from the bat family of the Gotham Knights, but that is why we have Alfred around. Around and most likely going to be killed during our run on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

Ghostwire: Tokyo Finally Lets You Take Some Glorious New Photos Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of October 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Ghostwire A new update for Ghostwire: Tokyo is out that adds in a robust Photo Mode into the fun of Ghostwire: Tokyo The update that many of you have been waiting for to come to Ghostwire: Tokyo is finally here. The new Photo Mode for the game is done and out there from Tango Gameworks so you can make sure to be able to capture all of those sick moments in the game on the PS4, PS5, and PC. At least capture them all in a form that you would rather want than just a well-timed screenshot of the action going on. That has been an option since Ghostwire: Tokyo, but that almost always came down to the luck of the draw instead of being able to stage a great shot using the assets that the team has carefully placed in the game in the first place.
