Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Gods, this was a fast week here for us and all of the lead-up for so many video games. A lead-up that will most likely pay off next week with the virtual E3 popping off and so many updates coming to us during the week. After The Fall The developers of After The Fall are here to offer up a look at how a new enemy in After The Fall will try to bring us down The horrors are creeping out much more in After The Fall with a closer look at another of the creatures shambling out there. This is a VR FPS title hitting all of the PC platforms and the PSVR for the PS4 and PS5 if Vertigo Games has anything to say about it. Something that they do here with the latest creature showcase for After The Fall where we get to see two new ones we will have to deal with. All on our own or with some friends in the same setting. God Of War The next God Of War title has been hit with a delay and we will be waiting until 2022 to head back into God Of War We are going to have to wait for Ragnarök to come just a bit more, as the next God Of War title has been delayed now. Not by a few months but delayed until 2022 now. It is sad news to have here as a huge God Of War fan, for sure, but Santa Monica Studio has yet to let me and most down by taking the time they need to make their games. That and the delay here is to make sure that they are able to keep the studio safe and healthy during the transitions we are still working with here. God Of Riffs Heavy Metal VR Rhythm game, God Of Riffs, will be hitting an Early Access in July to see if you really are the God Of Riffs out there When it comes to rhythm and VR games out there, we all know there is one leading the way, which is why it is nice to see another one going out there as we have for God Of Riffs. It is one coming from Boss Music Games and Vyersoft for the Oculus hardware via Steam that looks to bring the style of game to those who prefer some harder music out there. Harder by the way of God Of Riffs bringing some heavy metal music in the flow of it all while using the basic gameplay loop we have seen in other rhythm games out there. Read More...

Bygone Dreams The announcement for Bygone Dreams is here to give us a new adventure game with Bygone Dreams heading down a few different folklore paths If there is one thing that video games are good for, it is giving the world different looks at different cultures with titles like Bygone Dreams, which was just announced. I mention all of that due to the fact that this one will be bringing us more of that unique Slavic folklore in the world and from developers, Prime Time Studio, that we generally do not get to see on the world's stage as often as others. Apsulov Apsulov: End Of Gods will be releasing on the consoles here soon with Apsulov hitting the last and next-gen systems in the mix A little bit ago we all had a chance to see that Apsulov: End Of Gods was out on the PC for the vast amount of gamers to give a futuristic Viking horror title to experience. Yes, that is a thing and it feels like so many missed out on this title from Angry Demon Studio given the limitation of the one platform release. Ghosts ‘n Goblins The release date for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection on the other consoles is set for June to bring more into the Ghosts ‘n Goblins world The announcement that Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection was going to finally hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC after living on the Switch happened last week. It was great to see that more of us are going to get the chance to see how this IP was brought back to life. LEGO The next character for LEGO Super Mario is coming with LEGO Luigi finally announced and coming to us all this August It has been a bit since LEGO Super Mario dropped on us all out there to enjoy and we have seen quite a few deviations and extras dropped out there for the sets. It was something that many needed out there in the middle of the pandemics here, but there was one issue that we only had Mario to play with and all of the courses. It is called LEGO Super Mario Adventures so that makes a bit of sense, but some of us would like something other than the costumes that Mario has to wear in the mix. That is why it is great to see that we are finally getting Luigi in the mix of it all and not too far off. Read More...

The Forgotten City The Forgotten City is now set to release this summer and it looks like The Forgotten City will also be hitting some new platforms too It feels like that time loop in The Forgotten City is going on in the real world at this point, with the game now getting a Summer release out there for us all. Those keeping a close eye on what Modern Storyteller was setting up would know that the original plan was to drop the game in the Winter of 2020. Days Gone A look at the PC version of Days Gone is here with Days Gone getting all of the usual upgrades for a game when it hits PC On May 18th, we will be seeing Days Gone ride its way right out there for the PC gaming community so they can join in the story that the PS4 gamers have enjoyed for a while now. Even if the game did not make as big of a splash that some thought it would, Bend Studio still gave us all an amazing title that I would love to see get expanded upon in the future. That is seeming less likely in general, but maybe with the launch of Days Gone on the new platform and for a new audience, we could luck out. Read More...

Ghosts ‘n Goblins New platforms have been announced for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection to bring this remaster of Ghosts ‘n Goblins to more gamers out there There have been a good chunk of Ghosts ‘n Goblins fans out there enjoying the release of the Resurrection over on the Switch. It is out there and causing all of those players the same level of stress that we had from years ago and maybe breaking some Joycons too. All of which shows that Capcom did a great job bringing the game there and should be bringing it to everyone else too. Gord A new announcement is here for Gord with Gord bringing us a new City-Builder & Adventure set in a very dark fantasy world It does feel like we have been getting a whole lot of new titles out there using the massive Slavic folklore out there, and now we can add the announcement of Gord to the growing list of those titles. A title that is coming from Covenant and heading to the PC in 2022, but it is another title to add to the list to keep an eye on. More so, when you take in the fact that Gord will be giving us a massive dark fantasy world with the gameplay of a city-builder, strategy, and adventure genres mixed together. Read More...

Gollum Gameplay for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum is out there now with a little more showing off just how Gollum will play out Just as the character that the game will be revolving around, a little more is sneaking out there for The Lord Of The Rings: Gollum. This time in the way of a little bit of extra gameplay for it all and not the cinematics we have seen from Daedalic Entertainment up to now.
