Gloomy Eyes We sit down and review Gloomy Eyes. A twisted adventure-puzzle game, with some Burton whimsy. Here is our review of half of Gloomy Eyes It certainly took a little bit of extra time, but we finally saw Gloomy Eyes land on the consoles and flat screen formats, along with an upcoming physical edition of the game this Halloween. A nice little puzzle platforming game that Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales has for us on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Gloomy Eyes A new physical edition of Gloomy Eyes is on the way to us for those who need that version of Gloomy Eyes There is a new treat coming for us this Halloween, and it is no trick needed, as Gloomy Eyes will be getting a physical release on the PS5. Just as we are all about to dive into the digital version that Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales has for us all, it looks as if Perp Games is stepping up to give those who like to have their games in their hands something to drop into their goodie bags. Along with the game, though, it also looks like there will be a few extra tidbits to surprise us in the box, so one might want to hold off on picking up Gloomy Eyes until October 31st. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Gloomy Eyes The release date for Gloomy Eyes is now set, and we will be pulled into a new and creepy world of Gloomy Eyes very soon Some new little horrors are on the way to get cozy with, as we finally have a release date for Gloomy Eyes. This would be that bleak fairy tale title that Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales have been cooking up for us all that has that look and feel of a Tim Burton film. Thankfully, Gloomy Eyes is going to be its own thing, so we do not have to worry about the basic formula of all of those others coming back to bite us. Only the zombies that will be walking the Earth in the game here when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 12th. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of June 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Gloomy Eyes A new cozy horror title, Gloomy Eyes, is officially announced with Gloomy Eyes offering up some new self-co-op play We are always on the lookout for some new, and strange horror titles around here, and I think Gloomy Eyes might just be one to scratch some itches around here. No, this is not going to be some massive and gore-filled title that one might expect, but a new title on the way from Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales to offer us all a sweet little treat in the mix. With Gloomy Eyes taking more of a whimsical approach to things, with terms like Little Nightmares meets Tim Burton being tossed around here. All for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC when the game is finally ready to stroll on out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of March 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Cub We will be taking on a mutant cub in the recently announced title of The Cub If you have ever wondered how things would have ended in The Jungle Book if there would have also been an apocalypse too, let me introduce you to The Cub. This is the next title in the line of games from Demagog Studio and Untold Tales that is going to be giving us something along those lines. No, we are not going to see all of those classic characters in a Mad Max setting, even if that would be cool, but The Cub will tell us all a story that follows those lines but the boy we are guiding is a mutant left behind on a rotting planet. Now the ultrarich that abandoned the planet are back to find out how they can use this youngling to their advantage and find out how he has become immune to the perils of the world out there.
