by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of August 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight The release for Dead By Daylight: Alien is set for us all to get the new survivor and killer in Dead By Daylight The Xenomorph was teased as coming to Dead By Daylight, and now after many years, we will be seeing the perfect killer coming to the game on August 29th. That is if you want to wait for the final release of it, though, as Behaviour is giving everyone a chance to test everything out as of today (8/8/23). Not only the Xenomorph but also the big survivor that we all wanted to see in Dead By Daylight too. That, of course, being the famed Ellen Ripley from the Alien IP as well as a badass female icon in horror. Read More...

Mortal Kombat 1 Has Us Embrace The Chaos With New Characters
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of August 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat Three more fighters are here for Mortal Kombat 1 and we get one more Mortal Kombat deep cut for another Kameo fighter The fighters are coming out in droves for Mortal Kombat 1 with three more banished into the realm and one more showing up as the next hot Kameo spot. Most of them also some deep dives into the games from NetherRealm Studios that some fans might see these as new characters if they do not have their lore all the way up to date. There have been a massive amount of characters in the run for Mortal Kombat, so that makes sense. Now, though, we get to see as Reptile is back, along with Ashrah, Havik, and Sareena. Read More...

Dead By Daylight Will Have You Trying To Hear Yourself Scream
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of August 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Dead By Daylight A new killer is coming to Dead By Daylight with the Alien IP finally dropping in on Dead By Daylight soon The horror icons just keep on coming for Dead By Daylight and now we are going to be seeing a different breed in the mix with the Xenomorph creeping its way into the game. It feels like it has been a long time coming from Behaviour for this one to drop on us, and I am guessing it was all wrapped up in legal things to get this next Killer and survivors into the mix. Even if we are not too certain as of yet how Dead By Daylight will be using the IP. That is all to be revealed soon, but for now, we know that we will have some Alien in the mix of things soon on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...

Hellboy Web Of Wyrd Takes Us Into A New Butterfly House
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of August 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Hellboy New gameplay for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd is here to show off one more location that Hellboy will be clearing out Slowly but surely, we are going to get a full feel for how Hellboy Web Of Wyrd is going to play out there in terms of gameplay. We have had a whole lot of the voice and look at the art, but it feels as if Upstream Arcade is only slowly releasing actual gameplay to the world as we all wait with bated breath. That or they are truly this deep in development for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd that there just is not much of a solid version of the project to show at this point. There still is not a solid release date for the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, so I am going to err on that side of things and keep the best hopes going for it all. Mortal Kombat 1 Gets Some Time Back Into Its Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat One more Mortal Kombat character is back in the mix for Mortal Kombat 1 with Geras getting a debut Just when we thought we were going to have a lull for Mortal Kombat 1, a new fighter comes onto the scene with a smashing new trailer to behold. A new fighter for this entry but one that NetherRealm Studios has already given to us before. Here we go with Geras coming back from Mortal Kombat 11 to show more of what he is made of as well as make sure Lui Kang is keeping the peace as was dictated in some off-screen conversation. That is the long and short of what we have in the story here for this before the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 19th. Read More...

Immortals Of Aveum Gets Very Cinematic Out At SDCC This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Immortals See more of the Immortals showing off their acting chops in the latest from Immortals Of Aveum out of SDCC 2023 Hollywood may have been more or less non-present at SDCC this year, but it looks as if Immortals Of Aveum had to step up and give us something cinematic to look at. That is a poor attempt to slide right into the new bits of the game that Ascendant Studios brought to the world out there during the event. They needed something to get us all excited for the August 22nd release of Immortals Of Aveum on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Not only that but also to let some of the actors that have shown off some of their chops in the video game format. Read More...

More Characters Are In Our Blood Out Of SDCC For Mortal Kombat 1
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of July 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Mortal Kombat More characters for Mortal Kombat 1 have been announced out of SDCC along with more guest characters coming in for Mortal Kombat 1 In general, SDCC does not feel like the place where new information for Mortal Kombat 1 would have been dropped out there, but gods did we have a massive drop of information out there this year. Quite a bit of stuff that feels like NetherRealm Studios would have given us if the more traditional video game conventions would have been happening, but had to wait until they could pack a room with fans. Not only that, but to make sure we were all excited for that September 19th release of Mortal Kombat 1 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...

Hellboy Web Of Wyrd Tease Us All With A Little Bit Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Hellboy Set out into the world of Hellboy Web Of Wyrd and see just how Hellboy is going to handle some of the challenges ahead It has been a little weird here since the announcement for Hellboy Web Of Wyrd, as we were wondering how the game would actually play based on what we saw. There was a whole lot of comic panel style art out there from Upstream Arcade to help promote the game originally, but little as to how we would go through things. Then, there was a short bit from Good Shepherd Entertainment to keep us going that showed that it could be a mix of that and controlling Hellboy through some various 3D world settings. Now, it looks like we have a better answer with some full gameplay for the game as we wait for it to finally hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. Read More...

Twisted Metal Gets Just As Explicit As Many Of Us Have Been Hoping For
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of July 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Twisted Metal The latest trailer for Twisted Metal shows off more of the story, characters, and the darkness Twisted Metal is going to go to There are only a few more weeks left until we can start streaming Twisted Metal on Peacock, and I think I am finally and fully excited for the show. As a long-time fan of the video game, I know I set a rather high bar for it all to hit. If you did not know that already, have a look back at all of the other coverage for Twisted Metal we have had on the site up until now. That should set my mindset of things and the reason why I was doubtful about the show before. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/3/23 — 7/7/23
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of July 2023 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It seems like things have slowed down a bit around here for all of the video games and other tidbits of news out there. Even if we did have some fun stuff for Mortal Kombat 1 again and a new character on the way to Street Fighter 6 added into the mix. We also cannot forget that Nicolas Cage is now in the Dead By Daylight fun of it all with many more updates to come. All of this being the calm before the storm of the next wave with SDCC.
