DOOM The six multiplayer modes for DOOM have been revealed and it includes two classic modes that DOOM fans will remember and four others to flesh it out We just had a good look at the multiplayer maps that were coming to DOOM and now it looks like we have a look at the modes of gameplay we will have when entering into said maps. That didn't take too long but it is not surprising given that the beta goes live here in about a week and Bethesda needs to get us all more jazzed. DOOM A new video for DOOM has been released and this one shows off nine of the maps that will be included in DOOM's multiplayer during the beta & at launch The multiplayer beta for DOOM is only a few weeks out now and we haven't yet been able to see the maps that we will be killing each other on. This could be a good ploy by Bethesda to keep us all on our toes or it could be that id Software is still wrapping up a build just for the beta and they aren't done yet. DOOM The dates for DOOM's multiplayer closed beta have been confirmed and it looks like fans of DOOM will be slaying each other in Hell very soon Looks like we all will be entering the brutal world of DOOM here soon as the multiplayer beta is only a few weeks out now. We are talking like a few weeks as it is currently slated to run from March 31st to April 3rd. At least if you picked up id Software's earlier title Wolfenstein: The New Order as it looks like Bethesda isn't fully ready to open the floodgates for DOOM's multiplayer to the world just yet. DOOM The release date for DOOM has been set and we also have a nice, new collector's edition for DOOM to try and get us to drop even more money on the game The wait is almost over for DOOM, or at least in sight, as we now have a solid release date for the game and it is May 13th 2016. Looks like id Software has finally made it to a place in the development process where they feel they can dictate when DOOM hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC without worry of having to delay. DOOM A fresh batch of screenshots for DOOM have been released as well as a few highlights from the upcoming coverage of DOOM in Game Informer for us to take in Most of everything is stated in the above as we have some new screenshots for DOOM out there and ready for us all to pick apart and enjoy as id Software continues their work toward bringing us this franchise again. It's been kind of a scattered mess all week as to what we have been getting but none the less we had another fun week for all things video games. I know I am happy to see that Rise Of The Tomb Raider is going to have a lot of what made the franchise amazing back in it. A new bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released out there and it shows off some good old fashions demon killing…and the BFG Sometimes in the hullabaloo of things stuff gets lost in the cracks as was the case here with the most recent DOOM trailer that was released. There have been so many new things going on due to Gamescom and a plethora of title releases that this new DOOM trailer was also missed by us here as well. News about the DOOM multiplayer beta and alpha have come out of QuakeCon 2015 as well as a few new looks at the gameplay for DOOM It would make sense that out of QuakeCon we would get some new information for DOOM wouldn't it? It is one of the larger showcasing of Bethesda's titles and we all know DOOM is going to try and make a huge splash when it finally launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hells, DOOM helped do wonders to get the pre-orders for Wolfenstein: The New Order to spike among those who were not willing to take a chance. Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Bethesda Softworks Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below It is that time. Time to kick off E3 with the first official press conference of the event for Bethesda Softworks and their game studios. They have already let the cat out of the bag on a few items to see like Fallout 4, DOOM, and the recently slipped Dishonored 2. That last one doesn't feel like it was something we weren't going to be seeing anytime soon from Bethesda but it apparently slipped out during rehearsals from this press conference. Footage of an unreleased version of DOOM 4 has surfaced online so we can all see the direction DOOM is not going to be taking Yesterday we had a taste of what is coming for DOOM for us all but what about that DOOM 4 that we are not going to be getting? Yes, there apparently is a version of the game that Bethesda and id Software didn't want because it didn't have the "spirit" of the DOOM franchise. In this version we won't be seeing there is a military force on Earth that appears to be pushing back the forces of Hell. Kind of a deviation as even the poorly received film on the franchise stayed a bit closer to the original story than this sounded to be. Read More...

The first bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released to tease a world gameplay reveal at Bethesda's E3 event in June We've all been waiting patiently for something more on the upcoming DOOM title from id Software and Bethesda. Very patiently given that there were pre-order bonuses that gave us access to the DOOM beta when it goes live. We have yet to see a thing for the game but at least we all were sure it was still on its way. Today though it looks like the wait…now has a defined end date at Bethesda's E3 event when we should be seeing DOOM in action most likely on the PC version but possibly on the PS4 or Xbox One version. Bethesda announced today that they will be holding their own press conference at E3 2015 but with no details about what will be shown It looks like Bethesda wants in on all of the E3 fun of hosting their own press conference as the publisher just announced on their blog that they would be doing just that. No longer will they be held to just a booth and a kick-ass off site party/get-together at E3. They will be taking a stage and showing off what they have in the works for the coming years and most likely announcing a few things we all may have been wanting for a while. Read More...
