Prey The first gameplay trailer for Prey has been released out of QuakeCon and now we see how Prey will take a different story path than before It was announced at E3 and now out of QuakeCon this year we have our first bit of gameplay for Prey to gaze upon and see how the reboot is going. I have no doubt that Arkane Studios is going to do an amazing job with this iteration of the game given their past but it is nice to be able to see it all in action. Great minds think alien here as Bethesda has given us that taste of Prey that we are all looking for as we wait until 2017 for it to finally land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. At least that would be the easiest of the platforms to assume the game will come to. Read More...

Darksiders The rumored remaster of Darksiders has now become a reality as the Darksiders Warmastered Edition is heading to current gen systems this October If you were like me and questioning why we had the second Darksiders game remastered and no word on the first title, then you'll be glad to see that we now have the answer. It looks like Nordic Games was having that one remastered as well by KAIKO and now we are on the verge of getting it. I am glad to say that we now have the Darksiders Warmastered Edition announced and coming to our PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, or PC on October 25th of this year. Read More...

South Park A new behind the scenes video for South Park: The Fractured But Whole was revealed at SDCC during the big South Park anniversary panel and it has just that extra spice This was the year of the 20th season of South Park and as part of the big celebration of it all we had another great look at South Park: The Fractured But Whole out at SDCC. Not only did Ubisoft have a nice museum set up for The Coon and Friends again but this time they had a nice look at the dynamic duo working on the game in the background. Return To Arkham It looks like the delay of Batman: Return To Arkham may not be as long as most of us feared as sources claim Return To Arkham will be launching in November While this is still in the realm of speculation it looks like sources close to Batman: Return To Arkham state that we should be seeing the bundle released sometime in November of this year. At least that is what is being reported out there on Rocksteady Games' new collection after it was delayed instead of being released tomorrow. South Park In the wake of E3 we are still getting South Park: The Fractured But Whole details and this time it is just how the guys from South Park are taking the comedy a bit serious It sounds extremely weird and funny to hear that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is trying to take comedy seriously given the jokes about just that in the past. Of course we have to look past all of that as all of this comes from a recent interview about the game from some of the team out of Ubisoft. That and the fact that in terms of this South Park game this whole new revelation is in terms of the genre and not the specific jokes as the comedy genre in video games is on the light side. Dishonored 2 The first bit of gameplay for Dishonored 2 was shown off and now we have a better look at some of the upgrade for Dishonored 2 we are going to get Here is yet another title I didn't get a chance to personally check out at E3 but by the gods we had a great showing of Dishonored 2 out there during the event. In fact, we had about 15 minutes of gameplay shown off by Arkane Studios out at the show even though Bethesda had nothing more than a small museum to offer up on the show floor. Styx While at E3 I was able to see Styx: Shards Of Darkness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Styx: Shards Of Darkness One of the other smaller titles on the floor at E3 that I was excited for was Styx: Shards Of Darkness. This would be the sequel to one of the smaller cult classic titles that Cyanide Studios gave us back in 2014. It is a fun little stealth action title that builds off the story of Styx: Master Of Shadows and from the looks of things builds off the expanded power of the Unreal Engine that they just didn't have before. Thankfully we don't have much longer to wait as the game is still slated to launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Styx The E3 trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been release and it shows off a lot of the fun that Styx will be having while killing Moving away from the larger E3 video game teases and announcements it looks like we have a new trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness to gaze upon. I know that this game will be shown off a bit more in detail by Cyanide Studios during the convention but as it will most likely be behind closed doors leading up to then, this is most likely all we will have for now. None the less we will have more on Styx: Shards Of Darkness here after the expo but this is what we have for now. Styx New screenshots for Styx: Shards Of Darkness have been released and they showcase some of the new dangerous enemies Styx will have to take on or avoid in the game I was pretty sure we were going to have to wait until E3 to get more on Styx: Shards Of Darkness but it looks like we don't have to. Of course that is where the bulk of what Cyanide Studios has to offer us will be shown but at least for now it looks like we are getting a small update. In this case it is a few new screenshots for the game as well as some descriptions of the horrible monsters and enemy factions that Styx will have to kill or avoid along the way to his next big score. Dishonored 2 A new batch of screenshots of Dishonored 2 have been released a bit before the larger Dishonored 2 that is still slated for the E3 event Last we heard on Dishonored 2 was the release date of November 11th this year and that we would get to see the game in action during Bethesda's big E3 showcasing and most likely on the floor. As it looks though Arkane Studios didn't want us all to have to wait that long and we now have some new screenshots for the game. Of course I chalk all of this up to it being Friday the 13th week as well as it being filled with a whole lot of game releases. But of course we also did get a lot of Mafia 3 news out there as well as some Hellblade and of course it wouldn't have been a solid week in video games without the Friday The 13: The Game updates.
