Sue Is The New Fad
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of March 2008 - 08:14 PM ]
Viacom withdraws 'Guitar' suit I thought that this was all handled and now here it kind of goes again. I'm talking about the Harmonix vs. Activision thing in case you are actually reading this before clicking the link. It looks like this time around it was Harmonix slapping one down on Activision for not abiding by the contract they all agreed on. It looks like Activision signed off on paying royalties for the GH franchise and is not paying what they said they would be. This of course led to what it always does, Court Time. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2008 - 03:52 PM ]
The 3D Mario Wii Case Ok, I know we got a load of fans for the Nintendo here. Hell I am too, but not as much as this person. I mean, I just went to DecalGirl.com and ordered my Skull Case cover for mine. I just wish that I was half as talented as this person or had half the time. Bravo on this this. Doubt it will fit smoothly anywhere, but it does look friggin' cool. Now, here' something I'm curious about, has any one else here gone this crazy with tricking out their machines? Read More...

INFESTATION!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of March 2008 - 04:36 PM ]
Information on the Zerg from Startcraft II Starcraft is another one of those games that is anticipated in the coming times. I've been looking forward to it ever since I saw it at the blizzard booth at Comic-Con 2007. I know I'm chomping at the bit to get more and more on it. But any ways, this may not be the best thing ever. It also might not be 100% true. But here is what was leaked out onto the net. Read More...

Issues With A Bully?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 10:02 PM ]
Rockstar Apologizes For And Is Working On 360 Bully Now that I've suckered you into the article, time to mess you up. I'll try not to mess you up as bad as Rockstar has made it seem that they have messed up. Apparently their testing and QA department didn't catch all of the bugs in the game before release. Let me list them for you: Serious frame rate issues Audio glitches Freezing At least those are the ones reported thus far. Sam Houser had this to say about the whole things to boot. Read More...

THQ Has Spirit, How About You?
by Trina [ Thursday, 6th of March 2008 - 05:57 PM ]
THQ announces All Star Cheer Squad for the Wii and DS Okay get ready to roast me, but I am completely intrigued by THQ's announcement of All Star Cheer Squad for the Wii and DS. As a former cheerleader, I can't help but giggle as I imagine people cheering with Wii-mote in hand in the their living room. Players will enter into the world of competitive cheer leading as seen in Bring it on. "With the explosive growth of the girls gaming market in recent years due to the continued success of Wii and DS, our ongoing goal is to stay at the cutting edge of that success by bringing a brand new property for this segment to these popular systems," said Jim Huntley, director of global brand management, THQ. New Halo Figures Out From McFarlane Toys They are action figures. In fact they are action figures of one of the most popular games on the Xbox system. McFarlane is also know for having some of the best figurines ever made. I know I have a slew of them in my pad just cause they are so frigging cool to look at. That being said, you can now pick up the set of figures and play out you Halo fantasies like Darth Helmet in Spaceballs. Here is a list of what is out now, there will be another set come June this year so if you don't see one you like here, just wait until then. Read More...

Double Axe For Wii
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of March 2008 - 06:17 PM ]
Guitar Hero III Gets New Pack So you might have heard or been mixed up in the fiasco of the Mono-sound issue with the Wii version of the game. If you signed up for the replacement disc, I'm sorry for you since that doesn't seem to be going to well, at least from what has been reported to me. I hear it is a long turn around time to get your disk shipped back to you. So you might want to pick up another game in the mean time to fill the void of the wait. No More Heroes is a good choice, but I digest. Read More...

TramaPWN = Who Is With Me!
by Aaron BlueWolf72 Molloy [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2008 - 10:57 PM ]
Can you really trademark the term Pwned or Pwn As we all know, PWN or PWNED is a slang term (which belongs to gaming the community) that implies domination or humiliation of a rival, used primarily in the Internet gaming culture to taunt an opponent that has just been soundly defeated. Past tense is sometimes spelled pwnt (pronounced with a t sound) or pwned (with the standard d sound). Examples include "distributing the pwnage" or "you just got pwned". It can also be used, especially by non-gamers, in the context of getting "pwned" by The Man. Read More...
