DOOM The dates for DOOM's multiplayer closed beta have been confirmed and it looks like fans of DOOM will be slaying each other in Hell very soon Looks like we all will be entering the brutal world of DOOM here soon as the multiplayer beta is only a few weeks out now. We are talking like a few weeks as it is currently slated to run from March 31st to April 3rd. At least if you picked up id Software's earlier title Wolfenstein: The New Order as it looks like Bethesda isn't fully ready to open the floodgates for DOOM's multiplayer to the world just yet. At least they are trying to work out some of the bugs earlier on than the week before unlike some other recent titles… As with all of these kinds of things this isn't going to be the full multiplayer mode coming to DOOM when it launches on May 13th. Rock Band Harmonix, and in turn Rock Band, have entered a new co-publishing agreement that could me new Rock Band 4 features and new hardware to rock with If you were thinking that all you were going to get for Rock Band 4 as we pressed on was only going to be new tracks and minor updates to the game then you may have been right. It did seem that way as after the last major update it looked like Harmonix was kind of in a tough spot and just trying to stay afloat for all of the fans out there. Overwatch The release date for Overwatch has been revealed and it looks like fans of Overwatch will get to have a bit of an early access to it Looks like the wait for Overwatch is going to be coming to an end here soon. We now have an official release date for the game and it looks like it is a lot sooner than many though that Blizzard would have it done by. None the less we can all be happy to see Overwatch landing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 24th. Plants Vs Zombies The first free content update for Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is coming and it looks to bring much more to the Plants Vs Zombies world and gameplay Barely a few weeks out from the original launch of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 and it looks like we are getting our first big update for the game. Just like the game before is looks like PopCap Games is still churning out all of new content we could ever want. Dying Light Dying Light is getting even larger now as now with Dying Light: The Following we are getting four community maps to all of the platforms and not just PC Just when you thought that Dying Light: The Following couldn't get any larger on all platforms it looks like it is. Maybe you remember back when Techland offered up the developer tools to the PC community and modders went crazy making some awesome stuff? Remember when people like me speculated on if the console players would ever get to see these new maps being built? Paragon Paragon is heading to an early access stage and players can give Paragon or pay to make sure they keep all of their progress when the game fully launches The beta for Paragon is still going strong but it looks like there is a need for more players to access and help shape the game into what they want. Due to the latter there is looks like Epic Games is now taking Paragon into and 'Early Access' state where players will be able to pay to gain access but the bonus being that they won't lose anything when all is said and done. Battleborn The last two characters for Battleborn have been revealed and now we know the full launch roster of heroes coming to Battleborn and their moves The final two characters for Battleborn have now been revealed and we can take in all of the 25 launch badasses coming to the game. Of course we finish off with these two as they are described as the most absurd that Gearbox has put together for the game. A luchador and an old robotics genius who is too lazy to do a thing. NightCry After a nice little alpha demo of NightCry it looks like the development team is prepping for a Spring release for NightCry on the PC Last year we were able to see that NightCry was funded and in the works from Nude Maker studios. There was a lot of rejoice as many, myself included, loved the Clock Tower games that this was game was going to be building off even if it wasn't a direct sequel. As Kickstarter campaigns go of course we were all updated with a few things during the time of success and now and if some of those backers had been keeping a close eye they would have seen a nice little alpha slice of NightCry to have been played all last month. It looks like things went well and the feedback that was given was helpful as it looks like the PC build of NightCry is now well on its way to release in the next few months. Read More...

Hitman A new trailer for Hitman has been released and it shows off how large the maps of the first two missions of Hitman will be as well as diverse Since Hitman is just about a week out from launch it looks like it is time to beat the dead horse again in terms of how large the maps are going to be in the game. This has been something that Io Interactive has been touting since the first time we heard they were making another addition into the franchise and it is back yet again. The real bonus here being that the Season Premiere trailer for Hitman does give us another look and the maps do look rather large based on all of that. Read More...

Uncharted 4 It has been announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be delayed yet again but this time it is to ensure that the world will be enjoying Uncharted 4 altogether The wait continues as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is hit with yet another delay. No longer will the game be landing on the PS4 in April but now we are look at May 10th for the release now. Even with Naughty Dog stating that the game will be hitting the gold stage of production later this month we still have another two week delay. Rock Band 4 Looks like Rock Band 4 could be headed to the PC platform as a new Fig campaign has been opened to complete development on Rock Band 4 for PC Rock Band 4 hit the PS4 and Xbox One only a few months ago and people questioned why we were not seeing it on the PC as the main competitor was hitting all of the platforms out there. Harmonix quickly rebuffed those claims with the reasons of piracy and not placing the game on a PC platform was the only way to negate that issue. Mortal Kombat X The fourth and final new character coming to Mortal Kombat X, Alien, has been shown off and now we can solve the great question in Mortal Kombat X over who is the better hunter The last of the new fighters heading to Mortal Kombat X has been shown off and now we have a good look at the xenomorph, or Alien, from the franchise of the same name. Now is the time that NetherRealm Studios can sit back and just rake in the cash as the Kombat Pack 2 and Mortal Kombat XL are just days from launching and we have some great reasons for all of it. Battleborn Three new heroes for Battleborn have been revealed to us as well as the co-op story mode for Battleborn that looks to change the game for the better Looks like we are even closer to that sweet number of 25 for Battleborn's hero roster as we get closer to the release of the game. We have three new heroes to show off for Gearbox's next huge title and it looks like they are not light on the badassitude. That is a word now. But not only do we get to see these three new heroes in action but it looks like 2K Games allowed for some of the co-op story mode to get mixed in just to show us what we have to look forward to on May 3rd here. Uncharted 4 A new story trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been revealed to show off the hard work going into Uncharted 4 as well as a few new hints at the grander scale of the story Most of the news around Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End hasn't been too positive over the last months. Most of which have pointed to delays and all that jazz but Naughty Dog has been plugging away at making this the best and final entry into the franchise and it is still on par to hit the PS4 on April 26th still. Hitman A new CGI trailer for Hitman has been released to try and bridge a 20 year gap in story but also get us pumped for more Hitman beta action As most of us know for the upcoming Hitman game there was a nice little prologue that we get to play. Some of those who set the time aside were already able to play this "mission" as Io Interactive and Square Enix gave us a little beta on the PS4 and PC version of the game. It wasn't open for all just as of yet but it was set to show us what happened 20 years before the main bulk of Hitman takes place.
