Many great new games are coming out this upcoming holiday season and fortunately for me, I had a chance to play some at this year's Penny Arcade Expo (PAX). One of the must talked about games, Left 4 Dead (L4D), was available to play at Valve's booth. Throughout the whole convention, the L4D booth was packed to the gills with people eager to kill some zombies. After playing the first Saints Row for more hours than I can possibly count, I’ve been extremely excited since the announcement of Saints Row 2 coming in 2008. After one delay, which has pushed the game back to October 14 2008, I about lost my mind. But I would not have to wait that long to at least get a test run, and this is where PAX 2008 comes into play. After a short five minute play through during the media time on Friday, I knew I had to get back and play the full first mission of Saints Row. BlizzCon tickets sold out in minutes after Blizzard was finally able to put them up for sale. Later in the day Blizzard put a small reserve of tickets up for sale which were also sold out immediately (and I mean immediately). I would have loved to go to BlizzCon but the expenses are pretty high. $100 per ticket, plane ticket costs, hotel, goodies, etc... it would have been quite the piggy bank eater. I know a lot of my friends didn't get tickets who were all looking forward to going, but alias they seem to begoing to LA still to get drunk and hang out with long-time guildies. Read More...

Mad World E3 Trailer I know I talked about this game once before. It was only when there was a teaser for the game, but it looks like there is an even better trailer for the game that was shown at E3 this year. Like the title says, Man Darts! Dead Rising Ports To The Wii Yes, you read that right. Well at least that is what I have been able to gather from a very broken translation of the Japanese magazine Famitsu. So if you were still waffling on buying an XBox to get this game, it will be out on the Wii. Should be good news for some people who will remain nameless, but they are on this site. Resident Evil 5 Just announced at the Microsoft Conference at E3. Resident Evil 5 will be released on the 13th of March next year (2009). Rock Band II: Exclusive E3 2008 Gameplay Reveal To be honest, this clip isn't anything to write home to mom about. It looks almost totally the same, gameplay and graphics wise. But then again, it is more or less just a etase for the game anyways. There are a couple of new looking visual effects that happen in the background, but when you are playing, you are not looking at those anyways. Kratos Is Back: God of War 3 To Be Shown At E3 Ok, so the title may be a little misleading, but that was lifted straight from the english source for this tid bit. It was originally posted on a French site, before you ask. But I guess, Sony either let slip or something at the Interactive & Digital Entertainment Festival that GoW III (that's God of War not Gears of War) will be at this years E3.
