Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we were expecting, this was certainly a full week of video games. Some of it is catching up from all of the big announcements we did have, while also offering up some other games that were left out of The Game Awards, as they would not drive money to the show. World War Z A new crossover for World War Z: Aftermath is on the way with The Walking Dead and World War Z joining forces It definitely feels as if it was a long-time coming, but we are finally getting that crossover from The Walking Dead and World War Z: Aftermath. It seems that the TV show just will never die at this point, and it is going to shamble on just a bit more with Saber Interactive bringing the IP into the long-running game. This feels like a crossover that should have happened a while ago, but fans still holding onto the World War Z game will be glad to see this DLC in January 2026, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. WARLOCK The announcement for WARLOCK, a new Dungeons & Dragons game, will place us deep into what it is to be a Warlock Fans of D&D, it's time to get excited with a new title on the way to us all with WARLOCK. A new title from Invoke Studios that will place us into a new area of the fantasy world and explore the class of the same name. That is at least the assumption and feeling from the announcement video we have, and a description of a protagonist who happens to sound like one of the first to go with the Warlock style. Star Wars A new Star Wars racing title is on the way to us with the recent announcement for Star Wars: Galactic Racer It does feel like it has been a good long while since we had a racing game set in the Star Wars universe. Sure, there have been a few, and other titles had racing in them, but it looks like we are getting a whole new one to give all of the racing game fans something to look at, too. A new title on the way from Fuse Games and Secret Mode for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC slated to drop in 2026. Star Wars A new Star Wars title is on the way, with an era that many have been waiting for within Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic Talk about a massive announcement that happened during The Game Awards this year… Star Wars: Fate Of The Old Republic is on the way to us and looking to take us all back to the era that so many fans have been missing over the decades. All from Arcanaut Studios and led by Casey Hudson, along with the guidance of Lucasfilm Games to make sure it stays in the Star Wars setting perfectly. I know I lost so much time to the Knights Of The Old Republic when it first dropped out there, and with this being the spiritual successor to that game, I can only see more time going into the IP yet again. Postal A new Postal game is on the way to us all with Postal: Bullet Paradise, and it looks like things are even more dystopian than ever Just when you thought the Dude might have had his last run, timelines switch up and give us Postal: Bullet Paradise. A new title in the line of the IP with Goonswarm Games working on it, and Running With Scissors bringing it all to the PS4, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, and PC in 2026. All to keep the Postal IP alive, shooting up all of the things, and keeping the toilet humor flowing out there. Borderlands The launch for Borderlands 4 is finally here, with one more cinematic look at how this Borderlands is going to feel The wait is pretty much over, and we can all jump into what Borderlands 4 has to offer up for us on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Sorry to the Switch 2 gamers who will need to dodge spoilers until October 3rd when Gearbox will be able to bring the game to you there. It is what it is, but everyone makes their choices in life. War Mechanic Official gameplay for War Mechanic is out there to give the world a look at how War Mechanic will handle before Early Access It looks like it is time to gear up once more for a look at how war never changes with War Mechanic. Some might have thought I was leaning toward a different IP with the "war never changes" bit, but this is for the upcoming title from Chronospace on the PC, which will do pretty much what the title dictates it will do. Borderlands The Borderlands is on the way to us in the week, and we have one more look at Borderlands 4 before then We have almost made it to the release of Borderlands 4, as in the next week, we will all have a chance to play the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. All levels of insanity will fire off, as Gearbox pushes harder to make sure we have all of the guns to use in the world. That and have a fun little story to carry on the legacy of the Borderlands IP. Mr Wonder A new horror title, Mr Wonder, is on the way to us with a demo for Mr Wonder and a commentary on our society It feels like it took a bit longer than it should, but here we go with some fun commentary on humanity with a new horror title of Mr Wonder. If the name sounds suspiciously close to some famous YouTuber, there is a reason for that. In fact, Fume Software is making the claim of making a video game that is a horror mix-up of Mr Beast and Squid Games. Borderlands Dig in deeper for the next vault hunter to hit the Borderlands, as we see Rafa come fully onto the scene for Borderlands 4 We had a deep dive into one of the Vault Hunters on the way to Borderlands 4, and now we can dive into the next one. This one is a little more on the melee side of things, as Gearbox is looking to mix things up a bit more with Rafa. Not that we have not seen a character like this in Borderlands before now, but Rafa is a little different. Borderlands Take the Borderlands fun on the go, with the recently announced Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 that will be launching I had a feeling it was only a matter of time before we heard it was happening, but here we are with Borderlands 4 getting the full Switch 2 announcement for release. Toxic Crusaders The release date for Toxic Crusaders is finally set, and we can be joining the Toxic Crusaders in the fight before the holiday season So much has been going on in the whirl of SDCC, and it looks like we almost missed the announcement of when we would be able to experience what Toxic Crusaders has in store for us.
