Hide And Shriek Just in time for Halloween Hide And Shriek, the jump-scare multiplayer game, has gone free to play so get out there and Hide And Shriek If you think back to last Halloween, you may remember the title Hide And Shriek getting a little release out there for PC on Steam. It was a little title that was a One Vs One multiplayer title all about fear that Funcom put out there while working on all of their other titles that have come out since. The may premise of Hide And Shriek is that you and your opponent are in a closed location and your goal is to get as many jump-scares pulled off on your opponent through traps, sneaking around, or any other tactics you can think of. At least it has been for me as I've been super hyped on the franchise since the first time Red Barrels brought the original to us and then followed up with the Whistleblower DLC. Outlast 2 It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing in Australia afterall as Outlast 2 has now been given a classification of R18+ by the reviewing board Here's a bit of good news out there just in case you weren't having a good day. It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing down in Australia now as the ratings board down there has given the game a classification of R18+. This comes a week after were first caught wind that they refused to give the game a rating due to some of the graphic things that Red Barrels had in the game; particularly one scene. Evil Within 2 Rumors have started that The Evil Within 2 is in development based on a recent job posting for Q/A to work on The Evil Within 2 or Psycho Break 2 in Japan The rumor mill is churning as it looks like hints that The Evil Within 2, or Psycho Break 2 if you wish, is currently in development and at the point where they are looking for QA people. At least this is all to be believed from a recent, unconfirmed, private job listing over there for Tango Gameworks that has found its way online and then screen captured for all to see. The bigger thing giving this new rumor for The Evil Within 2 much of its merit currently is that Bethesda has already teased some big titles for the year and that Tango has claimed it wanted to make this a franchise and not just a one-off title. Outlast 2 Australians may not be seeing Outlast 2 at launch as it looks like Outlast 2 has been refused classification of even a R18+ rating by the censors We just had the release date for Outlast 2 given out and it was assumed to be a world-wide release on April 25th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Now, as it looks, the game may not be making said release date but only for those who live down in Australia where the Classification Board, think ESRB of sorts, has refused to give Red Barrels' new title even the rating of R18+. Hide And Shriek The first gameplay for Hide And Shriek has been released and now we can see just how Hide And Shriek matches will play out later this October Earlier in the month we saw a new horror game announced called Hide And Shriek. It's a new one on one multiplayer title coming from Funcom and that was more or less about the extent of what we knew. Well outside of the goal of Hide And Shriek being to scare each other until there is a defined winner and a defined user. Hide And Shriek A new horror multiplayer title, Hide And Shriek, has been announced and Hide And Shriek has you dealing out all of the horror and not the developers If you were wondering where all of the good horror games where this month then let me introduce you to Hide And Shriek. This is a new multiplayer horror title in the works just for Halloween from Funcom. You know, the ones who brought us The Park last year and now want to keep the horror flowing with Hide And Shriek this year on the PC; even though the two titles are not linked in any other way outside of the developers and platform. Outlast 2 It looks like Outlast 2 has been hit with delays and we won't be seeing Outlast 2 this October but sometime next year Looks like some sad news has been added into the mix as it looks like Outlast 2 is going to be delayed until Q1 of 2017. This is never the news you want to get for your game but here it is none the less right from Red Barrels' social feeds. Although to be fair Outlast 2 never had a set date before now outside of October. The Park We sit down and review The Park. This is another narrative driven experience with basis in Funcom's other great IPs. Here's our review of The Park While The Park released last October on the PC it has finally made the jump over the PS4 and Xbox One to make sure everyone could have the narrative experience that they put together. An experience that looks to stem off from some of the amazing darkness that Funcom has already placed in The Secret World. Outlast 2 During PAX East a whole lot more on Outlast 2 was revealed, only to those who were overly active viewers, & now we all get to see what Outlast 2 holds During PAX East we had a good chunk of gameplay show up for Outlast 2 and we all rejoiced. It looked dark, terrifying, and showed how much care that Red Barrels had put into its development so far. As we all did though we tried to figure a few things out based on the gameplay for Outlast 2 but for those on the show floor or avid viewers of the Twitch streams there was a bit more in the mix.
