Overwatch An Overwatch panel has been set up for SDCC this week and it will take you behind the scenes for Overwatch's latest hero Doomfist Fans of Overwatch and those looking to know more on the latest Hero to grace the game, also those who will be at this year's SDCC, let it be known that you will have the chance to get a behind the scenes look at the new hero as well as ask the team questions about it all. Overwatch Another new character has been announced for Overwatch and this one comes in the way of a 'dead' member of Overwatch coming back to fight the good fight As if the roster of Overwatch wasn't large enough already it looks like we are getting yet another character added into the mix. I guess it is a good sign that Blizzard is bringing another new character as it definitely shows that they are fully backing the title and not just releasing and forgetting. Not that I thought they would do that to Overwatch in the first place but it is always a good sign to see them continuing the work. Overwatch The fourth and final Overwatch animated short has been released to get us all ready for Overwatch's eminent release date here tomorrow Only hours away now and we all will be hoping into the fun of Overwatch. It seems like a long and wobbly ride but we are on the verge of Blizzard's latest title having its full launch and now the anticipation has hit its high as we pre-download everything to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC to be ready to hit the ground running. Overwatch The third CG video for Overwatch has been released and showcases the rivals between Overwatch's Hanzo and Genji in a beautifully told short story Only about a week out from Overwatch release on May 24th now and we have the third CG trailer here to show off more of the backstory on characters in the game. This time it is a solid look at the deceptive sniper, Widowmaker, and how her actions are part of the reason of the conflict in Blizzard's upcoming title. Overwatch A new CGI video series for Overwatch has debuted and it looks like we are going to be getting to know all of Overwatch's characters more starting with Winston Unlike all of those other "get to know a character" video we have had in the past for Overwatch it looks like this time around we have something slightly new. It looks like Blizzard is kicking off a new video series for the game and now we are getting to see more of the story behind some of the characters in a CGI manner. Overwatch The release date for Overwatch has been revealed and it looks like fans of Overwatch will get to have a bit of an early access to it Looks like the wait for Overwatch is going to be coming to an end here soon. We now have an official release date for the game and it looks like it is a lot sooner than many though that Blizzard would have it done by. Overwatch The Overwatch beta is back in full swing and a few things have been added to Overwatch in the way of player levels and a few other game altering additions Just when you thought it was over they drag you back into Overwatch as the beta access has been turned back on. Not only is the beta back on and waiting for all of us to flood the game again but it looks like Blizzard has added a few new options and tweaks to Overwatch that are all based on suggestions from the community. Overwatch During Blizzcon it has been announced that Overwatch is hitting the consoles and it is getting an Overwatch: Origins Edition to do so As was to be expected it looks like Overwatch is getting a collector's edition of sorts and in this we have a solid confirmation that it is also heading to the PS4 and Xbox One platforms In addition to the already known PC version. Well more of a special edition and then a collector's edition if we want to be more succinct about this here for Overwatch. Overwatch The Overwatch closed beta has now been dated and the process that players will be able to help shape Overwatch has been detailed out a bit more We've seen all the heroes and villains of Overwatch in action and now it is time to play them and help tweak them with the announced beta for the game. There had been no date set by Blizzard for said beta up until now. We have more gameplay for Overwatch to show off three more characters as well as a bit of a wrap up on the core gameplay for Overwatch Here we go with even more gameplay and characters for Overwatch here to gawk at. Not only is it more gameplay for the game but it is also a good look at the 'non-female-stereotype' female-stereotype character that everyone praised Blizzard for when she was first announced. I am talking about Zarya the heavy Russian combatant that pretty much looks and plays like every other heavy Russian stereotypical female character in video games. But hey, Overwatch is made by a studio with such a following that no one will care about that and just spin it up on the PC to enjoy for decades as it is another new IP of theirs in the end. We Sit Down And Review Hatred. Is It Worth Your Time or was it all PR hype to grab your attention with the hyper-violence? Here's Our Review of Hatred If there has been one title recently that has made a huge splash in a short amount of time it was Hatred. This is the twin-stick shooter title from Destructive Creations that was denied on Steam and then allowed back after much outcry. Mainly all of the negative press being aimed toward the ultra-violence that is portrayed in this AO title only on PC that has garnered its claim to fame but we had a chance to give it a good solid play through and we have our own thoughts on Hatred. Two of Overwatch's armored badasses are shown off this week with a lot more Overwatch gameplay in the mix as well Being that it is the calm before the storm of E3 I guess it is nice that we have two more characters to look at for Overwatch here. Not only that but I think Blizzard planned well as it is both of the tank looking characters for the game as most of us are going to need to be as beefy as Pharah and Reinhardt look in Overwatch while traversing the show floor for E3. All joking aside there though let us get back to the fact that we have loads more gameplay here to look at and pick through for Overwatch. While it is all "alpha" gameplay I have a feeling that we are going to be getting that beta for the game here in short order after all of the characters are shown off in their glory. Read More...
