Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It has been a week here with the year ending and then starting back up, so we have more video games to play out there. Dread Neighbor Another psychological horror title, Dread Neighbor, is on the way to us all with Dread Neighbor going into some darkness More of the modern and foreign fears are on the way into the world with the reveal for Dread Neighbor. A new title that Ghostcase and Erabit are working on for the PC that will carry on a legacy of fear from a past title. All in a first-person and dark setting filled with many other nightmares, it would seem. Taxi Chaos The release for Taxi Chaos 2 is here, and we have some gameplay to get more excited to experience Taxi Chaos 2 It feels like it has been forever since I played a good arcade taxi driving game, but it looks like that is about to change with Taxi Chaos 2. Partially as Focuspoint Studios and Current Games have been able to wrap up development on the game, and it is currently out there for the Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Cronos A new gameplay mode for Cronos: The New Dawn is on the way to make sure we can all experience the story of Cronos I do not know why, but it feels as if Cronos: The New Dawn launched on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC so very long ago. I guess, a matter of months could feel like a long time for anyone out there, but it dropped and Bloober Team added another great success to their list. Sure, some had some complaints about the game, but for the most part, Cronos: The New Dawn was loved. Divinity A new and ambitious title, Divinity, is on the way to us all with Divinity being helmed by a studio that has proven themselves recently There was certainly a title that was getting all of the hype built going into The Game Awards this year, and it turned out to be Divinity. That was what the weird statue in the desert was for, and all of the other cryptic things that the social team was slipping out there, all so we could see that Larian Studios was working on the title. That being the bigger news and thing to get hyped up around, but that doesn't make as huge a splash for the powers that be over the developer. Painkiller New DLC for Painkiller is out there and it is offering up a bit more of the Metal feel to everything in Painkiller As if Painkiller was not already heavy metal from the start, it looks like things are getting even heavier with the latest bit of DLC that is now out there for the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A new update from Anshar Studios and 3D Realms to pull us back into the game, while also offering up some major content for the game. Hellraiser A new developer diary for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is out there to help us show how Hellraiser is finally coming to video games One of the more interesting updates we had that was not part of The Game Awards this year had to be from Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. Almost as if the award show was even afraid to touch the topic of the game. Yet Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games carry it all onward to make sure we know what is going on. Perhaps it is due to the graphic nature of the Hellraiser IP, and the awards show did not want to risk losing any of that ad revenue, so they played it safe for themselves while keeping gamers in the dark about it. WARLOCK The announcement for WARLOCK, a new Dungeons & Dragons game, will place us deep into what it is to be a Warlock Fans of D&D, it's time to get excited with a new title on the way to us all with WARLOCK. A new title from Invoke Studios that will place us into a new area of the fantasy world and explore the class of the same name. That is at least the assumption and feeling from the announcement video we have, and a description of a protagonist who happens to sound like one of the first to go with the Warlock style.
