This Week In Video Games 12/23/24 — 12/27/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 28th of December 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week As we though, this has been a rather short and slow week for all of our video games out there. We still had a few fun and new announcements, but a good portion of it all was catching up on things like the Ōkami sequel that is on the way, a look at the next thing for Dying Light, new modes for Hollowbody, and getting Think As Thieves out there in the mix. Not a week full of video games, sure, but one that had a whole lot for us to look at even with all of the holidays that have been going down. If only there was a good way to keep things going and the lights on better without needing to do all of the hard work when we should be having some happy times. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of December 2024 - 08:00 PM ]
Thick As Thieves It is time to become Thick As Thieves with the latest stealth game that we had announced recently also called Thick As Thieves Grab your thieves’ tools and gear up to head into a new video game experience with Thick As Thieves. A new title that OtherSide Entertainment and Megabit are working on that gives us pretty much what the title is alluding to. A new stealth game where we are taking up the role of thieves in a multiplayer setting to see who can get the big score first. All of which on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when Thick As Thieves is ready to launch. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of December 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to wrap this week of video games up just as you should be doing for all of your Christmas and other holiday gifts out there right now. As long as you are one of those out there who have been buying into the season and not just focused on things like the new Turok: Origins, Split Fiction, and Borderlands 4 that are on the way in the next year. Those are all some fun video games to look forward to in the coming year, but there is not much that can be played as of right now. We will leave that for other titles you will hopefully be getting in the coming week here. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of December 2024 - 10:00 PM ]
Midnight Murder Club Crossplay is coming to Midnight Murder Club and those looking to play Midnight Murder Club on the PS5 can jump into its beta It looks as if more players are being welcomed into the Midnight Murder Club with crossplay coming and beta now kicked off on the PS5 as well as the PC. A title that I thought Velan Studios was only going to drop on the PC in general, now looks like might be spreading out to the consoles. Well, at least one for now, but if the beta for Midnight Murder Club goes well, we might see it elsewhere. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/9/24 — 12/13/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 14th of December 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Wow, what a week we just wrapped up for video games and gaming in general out there. It may have felt like it started a little slow, but then it came out swinging with titles like Dispatch and Intergalactic getting dropped on us in the middle of it all. Not only that, but we got to see the end of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League land out there and so much more for Warhammer 40,000. That is also barely touching all of the other updates and news we had for all the video games out of the recent shows that took place too. Read More...

Suicide Squad The final DLC is out for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League with Deathstroke finally coming in for this Suicide Squad out there We all knew the end was coming for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and now we are in that end game with the final DLC dropping out there for us to enjoy. Well, as much as any of us have been able to enjoy this title after Rocksteady originally dropped it on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is sad to see that we are not going to be making it fully through the whole lineup that they might have had, but we get the fourth character to join the Suicide Squad in their task to kill all of the different Brainiacs out there. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 30th of November 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a much busier week for video games than expected but we made it through, finally. There was the dip, as expected, for the American Thanksgiving holiday and now we are wrapping up the dumb Black Friday things that need to happen each year now. That does mean we can get some great deals on video games out there, even if we still have some time to wait for Marvel Rivals, Atomic Heart, and Secret Level to hit us with all of that fun well after all of these things. It is what it is, so we will focus back in on the titles and other elements more than the holidays or pseudo-holidays that are celebrated by humans for some reason… Next week does have the release of a few of those video games we had to talk about and we will have some of that on the site for you to enjoy. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to wrap things up for the week of video games again and it was, as we mentioned, one of the slower weeks when it came to the big news. Some of that is based on things around here but also as the various companies gear up for American Thanksgiving next week. It is still weird how those holidays still seem to drive the world, but it is what it is. We still did have a lot for Marvel Rivals to take in, the launch of S. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of November 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go ending another week and one that certainly had some other focuses than video games out there. Part of the newer goal we had over the last year was to branch out, even if some of the news did go back to Outlast. We had a successful Halloween Horror Nights and got to show off the Universal Horror Unleashed that is on the way to Las Vegas next year. Along with a new update for Bloodlines 2 that I was sure that many did not think we were going to get. Read More...
