The DLC For This Article Will Be Released Soon.
by Kenton Winkfield [ Tuesday, 22nd of January 2013 - 07:07 PM ]
I love it when I turn on a game I've already played and beaten and find that there is brand new stuff to do thanks to new content being added. But, in a world dominated by the internet is it really such a good thing now? I feel that games now-a-days are sometimes left incomplete in order to reach deadlines, and the finishing touches are just brought out at a later date in the form of patches or add-ons. In the past; unless you were on a PC; an incomplete game was rare on consoles before they could access the internet. And unless the game was incredibly good, people wouldn't go out to buy the next installments. Read More...

Review: Dragon Age: Origins Awakening
by Michael Camacho [ Monday, 22nd of March 2010 - 03:50 PM ]
Disclaimer: Before you continue on to reading this review, I want to say a couple of things. If you have not played Dragon Age: Origins, I highly recommend you do before playing this expansion. While it is playable as a stand alone on consoles, you will be doing yourself a huge disservice by not playing through the original storyline. Second, play through all current DLC on the main game as well before importing your character into Dragon Age: Origins Awakening, as you will not be able to go back and play through that once your character has gone through the Awakening storyline. It has only been four months since Dragon Age: Origins was released by Bioware, and already they have released one DLC (Return to Orzammar) and now we have the first full expansion pack, known as Awakening. LOTRO Expansion To Change Mount System, Making A Difference
by Brian Bentley [ Wednesday, 7th of October 2009 - 07:53 PM ]
With the new Lord of the Rings Online expansion, Siege of Mirkwood, set to release in less than two months, more information about some of the the enhancements have trickled out in the form of developer diaries. In one of the recent developer diaries, the LOTRO team discussed the revamped mount system set to release in this next expansion. This is especially significant because this feature has always been a bit of a dark smudge on the gameplay. To me, the mount system in LOTRO has always felt a bit tacked on. Read More...

Lord of the Rings Online Expansion Gets Date, Price
by Brian Bentley [ Thursday, 1st of October 2009 - 02:01 PM ]
Tuesday Turbine announced the release date and pricing for the second expansion for Lord of the Rings Online: Siege of Mirkwood. If you want to know more about the expansion itself, check out the expansion's announcement here. In that article I speculated about the digital download's price as it does not feel like a true expansion but rather the second half of the Mines of Moria expansion. As such, I had said that Siege of Mirkwood would be priced at $20 and for the most part, I was right. Sort of. Read More...
