Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to put one more week in the bag when it comes to all of those video games out there. We have been doing what we can to catch up to all of the announcements and updates we have had up to now, but we still have many more to go. Invincible The next character for Invincible VS is on display, as we wait a little bit more to see Universa coming to Invincible VS On June 30th the first wave of DLC for Invincible VS will be landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As long as you have that Year 1 Character pass that Skybound has offered up. One that will add in a few characters over the coming year, with The Immortal already announced, and now a look at Universa as the 19th character to join the fight. A Plague Tale Have a long look at Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy with the latest gameplay we have for this title in the A Plague Tale world We just had the release date for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy drop on us all, and now we can have a solid look at the gameplay we are going to get to experience when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 27th. One that already looked as if Asobo Studio was deviating away from the structure that we all knew from the IP before now. Hitman Three of the big titles for Hitman are on the way back to us all with the announcement for Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered The world of assassination just will not stay in the shadows, as we now have Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered on the way to us in 2027. Just on the heels of so many other fun things that have been placed out there for the IP, it looks as if Saber Interactive and IO Interactive wanted to make sure those who missed out on some of the classic games will have a chance to play them again on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Well, more play three of the Hitman titles again, but with many of the upgrades and changes that we would expect to have in a modern video game. Dead By Daylight The launch of Jason into Dead By Daylight is finally here, to help kick off all of the new fun for Dead By Daylight The big day is finally here, as Jason is now stalking the Fog within Dead By Daylight. The new killer is out there as part of the big things coming to the game from Behaviour, and we have one small look at the hockey mask just before he will be slaying all of the Survivors in the summer camps. Also, a little look to see how this version of Jason will be different in Dead By Daylight from the other asymmetrical horror games we have seen Jason in. Hellraiser The release date for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is finally set, with Hellraiser ready before this Halloween It feels as if it has taken forever, but here we go with a release date set for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. This is something that I know I was expecting Saber Interactive to show off in the bigger reveals recently, but I am still glad we now get to know when it will hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. I could keep the pain of that knowledge a little more obfuscated for you, but I will just say that Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will be launching on October 8th of this year. Clockwork The release window for Clockwork Revolution is now set in, as we get to see how the heist in the game will kick off the events of Clockwork Revolution For a game about time, it's been a bit of time since we had any kind of good update for Clockwork Revolution. This would be the steampunk title that inXile Entertainment that has been working on, which looks like a blending of BioShock and Dishonored to give you a quick flashback to it all. I'm seeing the game as being more than that, but I just wanted to make sure you were up to speed on things before we dive into the Heist that we're going to see kick things off for Clockwork Revolution. The next little spin-off title in the IP that Asobo Studio has been working on is coming to an end, and Focus Home Interactive is gearing up to give it to us all. Metro New gameplay for Metro 2039 is here, and we get to see Hunter running about the dark world of Metro 2039 The teams over at 4A Games and Deep Silver are coming in strong and fast for Metro 2039, as it has only been a short while since the announcement, and we are here with another big update for the game. An update that will show off the antagonist of the game, the hero of the game, a bit of the gameplay to expect, and when we might be seeing the game land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there. Kingdom Hearts The world of Kingdom Hearts is coming into a real setting with the latest teaser that we have for Kingdom Hearts IV After four years of waiting, we finally have a new thing to be teased about when it comes to Kingdom Hearts IV. Not only did Square Enix give us so little before that we have had to speculate and dream about what the game could be, but then they made us wait so long to get something new. The gall to do that. Vampire A new Vampire: The Masquerade title is on the way to us, with the announcement for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade - Eternal Whispers Things keep on growing for the main IP out there, with the announcement for Vampire: The Masquerade - Eternal Whispers. A new CRPG coming to the PC from Flyos and Kwalee that aims to give us more of a traditional style to the game, along with some fun top-down visuals to go along with it. Alien The horrors of the Alien IP are carrying on, with the full reveal we just had for Alien: Isolation 2 We all knew it was coming, and now we are here with the official reveal for Alien Isolation 2. A title that Creative Assembly was not coy about coming, as they announced it almost two years ago, but out of all of the recent videos dropped out there, we have an official reveal for the game. On that, it might be a little different from what any of you might have thought was on the way to us all. One that still holds up the fact that nowhere is safe in the universe of Alien, and the Ripley family is not getting any breaks when it comes to all of that. Read More...

Resident Evil The Resident Evil remakes keep coming, with the official announcement that we now have for Resident Evil Veronica The fans have been crying out for it, and after a solid run at remakes that Capcom has been giving us all, we are finally getting Resident Evil Veronica. This would be a remake of the Code Veronica title from so long ago for those who are not fully up on their gaming lore, even if the title should have given that away a little bit. That all said, it was revealed to us and the world that Resident Evil Veronica will be giving this little title a new bit of life with a release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC in 2027. That is a bit of a turnaround for it all, given that we just had the recent mainline title release this year, but they do have quite a few working on the IP over there, so I can see how that can all flow out there. Final Fantasy The conclusion to the Final Fantasy VII Remake saga is almost here, with the official reveal and gameplay for Final Fantasy VII Revelation The teasing is finally over, and we now have the announcement for Final Fantasy VII Revelation. The third and final part of the remake run that Square Enix has been taking their time with. The one that will bring us so many things we've been waiting for in terms of characters, world building, and the story. Not to mention, to see if the story for the remake is going to truly deviate from the Final Fantasy VII we had so long ago. Read More...
