This Week In Video Games 6/14/21 — 6/18/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of June 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was one whirlwind of a week there and we barely made it through a small slice of those video games that were announced, updated, or just plain shown off here during this year's virtual E3. While it was a bit easier to cover in this manner, it did feel like there are still so many other games to talk about. I am just glad we were able to get to Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Outer Worlds 2, and Redfall here. Read More...

Redfall Will Have Us Biting Back In The New IP Coming Next Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Redfall A new open-world co-op title, Redfall, was announced at E3 and Redfall will have us out there hunting down all manner of vampire During E3 this year, we have had a plethora of new titles announced, with many being new IPs, and here we go with one more by the way of Redfall. This would be the next huge title that Arkane Austin have been working on over the past bit of time and they are aiming to bring us a new FPS title to explore and slay in. A new FPS title that is also an open-world with co-op as we hunt down some genetically modified vampires out there. I hope you read all of that correctly, as this is the basic for Redfall that we have here as we get ready to wait for Summer of 2022 for it to actually hit the Xbox Series X and PC. Read More...

Hear The Story Of The White Lady Again For Martha Is Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of June 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Martha Is Dead More of the story within Martha Is Dead is out here now as we gear up for Martha Is Dead to launch sometime after E3 Things are still creeping out for some smaller titles in the mix of all of the big news out there at E3 and here we go with a bit more for Martha Is Dead. Just a bit more, as it sounds like a bit more of the story we have heard already but not to the point where it feels like LKA could be putting too much out there. Just in the perfect way it should with Wired Productions still poised to get us all Martha Is Dead sometime in the coming year on our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The date being something that would have been nice to get but we will certainly take what we can get. Read More...

Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo Is Getting Made Into A Video Game Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of June 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Vertigo Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo will be getting a video game version with Vertigo taking us down the narrative in a different way One more classic film is getting the video game treatment with the announcement of Alfred Hitchcock — Vertigo that we have here now. A new title coming out of Pendulo Studios and Microids for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC at some point during this year here. As the name dictates, it will follow some of the story from the film version of Vertigo in some form of inspiration of it all. So do not expect to see a shot for shot remake of the film for this game, but something more along the lines of just using the mental aspects of it all to direct it all down a path. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of June 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Crysis The Crysis IP is getting a full remaster as we have the announcement for the Crysis Remastered Trilogy that will bring the three titles to us again Color me not so surprised here after the release of the Crysis Remastered last year for all of the platforms out there. Here we go with the official announcement from Crytek that we are going to be seeing the second and third titles in the line hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC sometime before the end of the year. It was speculated and rumored before with it all, but here we go with the announcement for the Crysis Remastered Trilogy that will bring us the whole package in one little sitting. Now if only we can hope to see it all come at us again with a whole new title in the line after we get these remasters out of the way to help keep the whole thing flowing and expanding the industry more than cashing in on the nostalgia of it all. Flesh Is On File In The Latest For Martha Is Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of March 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Martha Is Dead A new trailer for Martha Is Dead is out there and it offers up more of the thrills Martha Is Dead could offer us If you had no clue up to now, photography will play a large role in Martha Is Dead and it seems like it will be a large way we uncover some of the darkness in the game's narrative. I am sure there is going to be a whole lot of that mixed into the game here and now we have one more tease of it all from LKA as to how that will look. Not too surprisingly, just as grim as the rest of the visuals we have seen for Martha Is Dead in the past as we wait for the game to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of March 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Severed Steel A new shooter is announced, Severed Steel, with Severed Steel giving us some one-armed gunslinging fun in the virtual world It can be a hard thing to try to feel fresh in the shooter genre of video games, but every now and then we see something as we have for Severed Steel here that is aiming to do that. In this instance, we are seeing a game where we are flowing through the craziness of the bullet storm as a one-armed gunslinger. A bold move for Greylock Studio and Digerati to go with as that can make reloading a bit difficult. Read More...

We Have A New Roadmap & Some Explanations For Cyberpunk 2077
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of January 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk 2077 There is a bit more information around Cyberpunk 2077 from how it was developed to what to expect in the future for Cyberpunk 2077 It would be an understatement to say Cyberpunk 2077 had the best launch it could have had. That goes between not only the consoles but the PC version of the game too. Experiences have differed amongst gamers out there, but there were issues and it looks like CD Projekt RED is aiming to take responsibility for it all and get what we all expected out there at some point. A point that looks to span the full year until we finally see Cyberpunk 2077 get the next-gen update for the PS5 and Xbox Series X in the second half of the year and most likely after the first free DLC that is planned. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of December 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Cyberpunk One last trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 is here to hype us all up just before Cyberpunk 2077 officially hits the streets As if the whole gaming community was not already over-hyped up for the release of Cyberpunk 2077 on December 10th, we have one more video to take in to do just that again. It is the launch week for the game and that means that CD Projekt RED has placed out a trailer just for the occasion to help sell the game a bit more. Again, I am not sure if anyone out there has missed the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 launches this week. Read More...
